$125 per fill?! Wow, no thank you.

If you had an Avalanche and got rid of it for a hybrid, you had no reason to drive an Avalanche. Sometimes there is no substitute for a truck. I throw $100 in my F-150 every fill up that will last about 400-450 miles.

just to prevent any conclusion-jumping, the Avalanche (which is identical to an Escalade except for branding) was our truck for our son and myriad activities, from skis, boards, four kinds of bikes, tools, etc. So "need" was justified. When he moved to LA and no longer needed a truck, we got rid of it. I was also pleased to not have $125 gas tabs twice a week. It has not been replaced, hybrid or otherwise. I encourage thinking about hybrids.
Glad to hear Google wallet is working for all of you again!
Yeah I want a pick-up truck, but can't justify it with all the driving I do. (90 miles round trip 5 days a week). When I can afford two vehicles, I will be getting a truck though.

I had an 03 Escalade ext, loved it until about 90,000 miles then it was nothing but trouble. White Diamond with chrome 20'a, very sweet! Ended up picking up an 03 Dodge Ram this year because sometimes you just need a truck...you just swallow hard at the pump.

So what's for dinner everyone? Anything interesting tonight? I have been cooking greens for the last several hours, yes the house now stinks lol, but dinner will be bbq chicken, slow cooked collard and mustard greens, rice and a salad.

Google wallet works!!!!
And dinner: Boxed hamburger helper...stroganoff.
The important part of dinner is the glass of vodka and a hand rolled cigar after I eat. Still have about 2 hours of work left tho...then dinner....

My new Spare battery charging kit came in while I was at work today. When I got home, I open it up, pull out the Y cable, charging stand and out pops ANOTHER battery. Sure its a standard 1850mAh battery but its a spare. So now my battery count is up to 4
2 standard and two extended. One extended battery last me pretty much a whole work shift unless I am really active on the phone.
I need to start using my phone more

Haha, you mean the non-news (since it has been Google's policy for over two years now, and is identical to Apple's policy)? I love how the first sentence makes it seem like its hurting developers, but then the one they interview said the policy has actually resulted in more sales, and they love working with Google. Of course all that is at the end.
Morning BB. So I decided to go the pupkact route with my avatar, and just show off my kids I like this pic because you can't see it, but my wife is taking the picture, and the reason they are all smiling is because I am making goofy faces off where they are looking.

Anyone else upgrade to AOKP M4? Having some problems. Have done 2 wipes and installs and still having issues. Box.net app is crashing on load every time. It will let me log in but then force closes, after that it FCs every time. Facebook has started acting wonky as well, looks different than it did before. Also a couple of other buggy type things like weather not showing up in the notification menu sometimes unless I click it.

Okay everyone, I am hoping you can help. Maps has been going crazy on me. I keep getting a pop up that says Google Maps has stopped. It pops up when I open other apps, sometimes when I just unlock my phone.
I have tried clearing data. Reinstalled the gapps package a number of times, all while clearing cache and dalvik cache.

One more question:
While on vacation, I was using my old Dinc as a media player, and it got stolen. This prompted me to think what I would do if my Gnex got swiped.
I know in the past, either this thread or the mega thread, we talked about apps that will let you both find your phone via GPS and/or remotely wipe your phone / lock it up.
I can't find it. Does anyone know the names of the programs? Both the one to find your phone and the one to remote wipe your phone.
