Yeah, I have my theories, but it's too political to get into here. Basically it comes down to society accepting this behavior, and in ways encouraging it. It's sad, but men aren't allowed to be MEN.
Right?! It's like everyone wanted so much for women to be equal to men in social terms, that it kind of got overshot to where wives are many times mothers as well.
Not to mention the idiotizing of fathers (Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.), sheesh.
Okay, rant over. I just kind of miss the "Father Knows Best" times. Not that I ever lived them, lol.
Hello all. I'm grumpy at the moment (AF nitwit PO'd me), but that's OK. Evan got another stripe at Karate tonight (good discipline in class) and a star for his Ghi (sp) for his good report card. He goes for his orange belt next Saturday which is cool.
For That's, I'm glad your surgery went well.

I knew that Apple sues just about everyone on the planet (30 suits between Apple and Samsung just in the last year!), but if I were a stockholder in Apple, I would consider a class action suit for wasting my money on frivolous suits. Does anyone really believe that "slide to unlock" is so unique to be patent-worthy?

Think I started using it in 2010 or something, great app.
DLNA is essentially a file sharing and control protocol. Your tv has the client, your phone needs the server.
If you go through your home router with both tv and phone on the same subnet, you should be all set.
Hey Early, I gave this one a try tonight, seems very cool. TV recognizes it but Nexie does not show the tv. Videos will only play if I use the function on the tv for "now playing" and have the Nexus scrolled to what I want to see. If I try to access from dlna on the tvscreen, it sees the folder structure accurately and with the correct names, but then says they are empty. I can not play photos at all, Any ideas?

Hey there everyone. I recently gained the ability to record HD videos of my GN's screen. Check it out, I'll surely be uploading more hopefully useful videos.
My Tournament is complete, in the first round yet.
Yeah, I'm pumped about that too. Missed my chance to fill out a bracket (yeah, I'm that lazy). I was actually planning on putting Mizzou as taking it all. Guess I'm lucky I didn't do that
Lady is out of town for the weekend, so I have the day to myself. Supposed to be another gorgeous day. What to do, what to do? Suppose I could go down to the national mall, haven't been there in ages.

With their history of "i" devices (ipad, iphone, ipod), they tried to sue the governments of Iraq and Iran for copyright infringement, but I think it's still clogging the courts.
Personally I think CyanogenMod was pretty late coming to the ROM party on the Nexus and so I think fewer people will care than before.
I think most are running AOKP, Crossbreed (which is basically the same thing), Gummy, and a few others. I saw one thread over at rootz for an official Cyanogen nightlie, and my reaction was "meh".

I don't know why they took so long.
I used CM7 off and on on my Droid. But, I just really liked all the tweaks that Liquid packed into theirs more. CM is fine, but just nothing special. If I was on a non-vanilla Android phone, I'd likely run it. With the Nexus, AOKP is still a beast (and thanks again for recommending Crossbreed. It's running like a champ).

CM7 was the last ROM I used on my Dinc and that was to get me somewhat ready for Nyxie. Its really nothing spectacular though. And I agree, this late in the game for a Nexus rom is crazy.
Ugh. I'm starting to really get annoyed with Snow White/Mary Margaret. I liked her at the beginning, but now she is really irritating me. Charming/David also, but to a lesser degree. I hope she fries for Kathryn's death, even though we all know what happened to her. I'd be shocked if she's not locked up in the padded wing with Belle.

Welp, when I have nothing to do, I head over to BB just for fun and browse around. Might pick up a trinket or two.
Ummm, I'm talking about Best Buy. Glad I re-read before posting.

Guess my plans to do anything productive vanished.
Paid bills this morning (boo), cooked a delicious egg, bacon (cut into scrabble size bits), mushroom, red and green bell pepper, and cheese scramble. Running an errand after this post, then a haircut!
All before the wife runs off to work until 9p.
I am sure I will catch some March Madness action as well. Green beer tonight? Maaaaaaaybe!
Taking 16-year-old daughter for a rainy day driving lesson. Wish me luck

Yikes! My dad always did the lessons in my family. Funny story is that we moved to NC in the middle of me having my permit and the laws were completely different there (in terms of how long and at what age you need to have your permit before getting a license). I never did get my license until I turned 18, but fortunately had plenty of friends with cars in high school so no problem.
Good luck!

Survived. Only stepped on my imaginary brake six times, grabbed the dash twice, kept from screaming for the most part. We didn't get honked at or flipped off like last time. Then, once we left the garage, we hit the road
Gosh, I need a drink.

Anyone else watching this Marquette v Murray State game? Probably one of the best I've seen in a while. Don't care for either team, but I'll go with Murray State as the underdog. They're doing great so far.
BB, enjoy the Mexican. I have a hankering for some now but has opted to order Greek for dinner.

I hear ya. Good thing I'm getting a raise in May and July! It should help. LOL
Having my evaluation coming up this week (already filled out my self eval). Crossing fingers on more money!
It always pays to stay with a company longer than moving from job to job money wise.

Guess March Madness has sapped everyone from the thread..
Well, got news we had a record week at the restaurant! Guess the warm weather has brought everyone out (and I guess Cherry Blossom season hasn't hurt either). Looking forward to seeing what we'll be out of when I get in, ugh.
Have a great Sunday everyone, hopefully not everyone is hungover from St. Paddys day!
