Chief,
not sure about the website, but in the mean time, have you considered another camera app? I use Camera Zoom FX from time to time - it has a self timer built in, as well as a voice-activated shutter release too.
I completely forgot to mention, over three months since I got my phone, and for the first time Wed. I ran into another GNex in the wild. A couple of my co-workers in my old department got it, but I never see them anymore in my current position. Funny thing is, he had a case on his, and at first glance, I was like, whoa, that is a big phone... hehe.

Glad it seems to be ok. Now, no more riddles please - I'm currently reading the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and its sometimes like wading through the riddles if a crazy person's brain waves. (I like the book though)

I haven't run Franco in over a month and had a horrible experience on it, but was curious about his color multiplier and gamma controls. Seem interesting, but I love my performance on Lean.
The APE5R has two ARM Cortex A9 processors clocked at 1.2 GHz, and more impressively a pair of PowerVR SGX543 GPUs. That’s the same GPU inside the Apple A5. The second generation iPad’s A5 is clocked at 1 GHz, the iPhone 4S has an A5 clocked at 800 MHz, so that makes the APE5R at 1.2 GHz the fastest SoC on the market. Now yes, Samsung has a 1.4 GHz Exynos in the Galaxy Note, but that particular chip uses an ARM Mali-400 GPU, which is fast, but not PowerVR SGX543 fast.

There's a condom factory right outside of the city I live in, and I know a guy who works there. He's kind of a d*ck.

So I'll be getting my Five Guys fix tonight with the wife. It's been a rough week but some well needed fry treatment will definitely help. That and listening to the Dixie Chix on my way home helps. Look forward to some ROMing tomorrow.

Five Guys ROCKS! Those wonderful gut-bomb burgers and fries from Heaven above... now you're making me hungry and the nearest one is 40 miles away from me!

I wish I could somehow read it for the first time again. Seriously, though, the HHGTTG is pretty much embedded in my brain at this point. Are you a Doctor Who fan? Douglas Adams wrote for original DW quite a lot, so the humor crosses over a fair bit.

Bon Apetit!
40 miles? Bummer. We have 10 alone in DC! Nearest one is 3 blocks from me
LOL, ours is 42 miles away. Gotta love living in a small town, right Chief? I know I do!
Well, at least you have In n Out to hit up!
Honestly, it's been several years since I lived in CA and went to In n Out, so my memory is a little foggy. But, I do think Five Guys is better. However, I really do miss the shakes there, wish FG would make them
Edit: Ugh, stupid me saw your details as "Coastal California" not Carolina. woops! They just put in a Five Guys in Hickory, NC where we're from. Seems to always be hopping.

Now you got me jonesing for a good malt... and Whataburger has a killer chocolate malt! I think the biggest one - 40 something ounces I think - is like three bucks and change. And there's not one for hundreds of miles around here...
Never been to a Whataburger, menu looks delicious (though no veggie options). Interesting that it's only in the southern half of the US.
And I loves me a super thick shake. Love it when they give you the glass and the container on the side with the leftovers.

No worries, I have been to the one in Hickory. Our closest at 42 miles is in Wilmington, or we could go 45 the other way and hit several in Myrtle Beach. The nearest chain of anything is McDonald's at 13 miles. I grew up in Dallas, we had Whataburger there and it was always busy.

In and Out rocks...but we also have a local burger joint called Habit Burger...gotta say they have the best malts in Santa Barbara, CA. Although I really miss having Sonic within driving distance, nearest one is about 3 hours drive...so that does not happen often.
Happy Saturday all...building cabinets today. Hoping to get them done before the rain tonight and tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Good morning fellow Nexxies! Slept pretty good last night (yes, that's usually a novelty)! Hope everyone has a great weekend planned.
I've decided that I've read and fiddled around long enough, so today my goal is to root my Droid X. First, I'm going back to read some more (I do believe that is the advice of many of you experts out there!) Then if my back holds up today, I'll be headed to the computer room to tinker away.
I'm kind of excited & kind of scared! But I want to start with the X, so I can play a little with the GNex!

Morning all!!! Its supposed to get icky and rainy today by me. Sooooo, I'm headed to the mall with Mom to pick up my brother's birthday gift, my favorite spray at Body Shop and maybe find some summer sandals that I like.
I hope everyone has a good day!!

Great idea to practice on the Droid X, it was the first I rooted and it was a breeze. Good luck! You will do great.

We just got a Bojangles near by, ok just past the McDonalds at about 13.5 miles, but hey around here, that is near by. We tried it a couple of weeks ago and I have to say, it was terrible. Everyone here raves about it and they were so excited when they started to build. Maybe we got a bad day or because its new, but it was really dry and honestly, Hardees chicken sandwich is better. We will have to give them one more try.

That definitely doesn't sound like a typical experience at Bojangles. It may be because it's new, I had a similar experience the first time we went to the one in St. Cloud FL (I couldn't believe it when I saw it! But it's almost two hours away.) and it had only been open a few days. However, a few weeks later when we went back up that way, it was much better. Lack of training can make food bad anywhere, I guess.
I really miss a lot of eastern NC food. No one does BBQ like down east, and then there's Boj's and Andy's Cheesesteaks...sigh...I'm going to make to make a trip home soon.

Well, come on home! We recently tried an Andy's in Shalotte, maybe we need to give them a second try because the first, well lets just say we were thinking it was the last, lol. However, we had their burgers, not their cheese-steak. The chain itself is a story of hard work and the American Dream. They are great contributors to the community and they do have awesome frozen custard. However, the mention of bbq makes me think we may have to run down to the BBQ House for some pulled pork for lunch, mmmmm.

Uh oh, not back to the bbq talk.
I'm doing yard work and playing with my new nfc tags and my nexus when I'm done. I'm helping a dev beta test and figured I'd learn how to use nfc to do stuff with my phone while I help them with their app. Plus they sent me the tags for free

Does anyone here know the website where I can make suggestions for Android 4.0.5 / 4.0.6?

[BOLD] Cheri writes, How to contribute to Android?[/BOLD]
There are a number of ways you can contribute to Android. You can report bugs, write apps for Android, or contribute source x$s to the Android Open-Source Project.
There are some limits on the kinds of code contributions we are willing or able to accept. For instance, someone might want to contribute an alternative application API, such as as a full C++-based environment. We would decline that contribution, since Android is focused on applications that run in the Dalvik VM. Alternatively, we won't accept contributions such as GPL or LGPL libraries that are incompatible with our licensing goals.
We encourage those interested in contributing source code to contact us via the AOSP Community page prior to beginning any work. You can find more information on this topic at the Getting Involved page.

Chief, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. But I wanted to add my 0.02 to NCTurner's opinion on Camera Zoom FX! I found that app back when I had my Droid X. My first impressions were that it takes wonderful pictures, much better than just the stock camera ones. I believe it has an image stabilizer in the app (which I personally need)! This app has been on sale several times and comes with about 13 free add-ons that let you do crazy things with your photos! All in all, it's my go to app if I'm shooting from my phone. It may be the best camera app on Android that I like.
