Been on 4.04 since they leaked. I have better 3g to 4g handoff, slightly better signal and am faster.
Ugh, I've had some poor handover problems the passed couple days. On Liquid 1.25 with the .4 radios. Not sure if it's a timing thing, or I need to switch ROMs.

That was probably from ME. I called Tier 2 tech support at Verizon about why my phone kept ghost calling out for programming. I was told that the Nexus is supposed to get all its programming by OTA, and should never be calling out. Too much of this, she said, could, in fact, fry the SIM card... and proceeded to recommend a full data reset (which I understand from others doesn't fix it).
How accurate her statement was is, of course, up for debate; I was just passing along what I was told directly by Verizon.

Got another 50' ethernet cable coming to the apartment today to wire my new Mac directly to the router since there is no wi-fi on the desktop and its cheaper than buying a wireless card and verifying it works with OSX86 project.

HAHA sweet - I love that the SDK is available for developers. I cannot wait to see what people come up with for apps on this thing. Also this part has me so stoked.

Ryan, that's great! Did you make any other changes last night besides the prl update? Do you know what you were on before you updated to 52686? My signal is also better on this prl.

Yeah, I am kinda sad right now cos I did it thinking it would get better instead of worse. I wonder if I went back to the 4.0.2 radios and updated the PRL again if it would revert to a previous PRL?

Sorry things are worse for you, been reading about it on and off all day and can tell you that the answers vary. Some say it improved things as it did for some of us, some say no change and very few said it made it worse. Course the only thing that matters for you its that your previous prl was better. As to how to get back to the old prl, here is what I read today: power down, pull sim , wait at least 60 seconds, power up, power down again, Re insert sim, power up again. Others reverted on its own, and yet others replaced the Sim. I also read that some people cycled down and pulled sim, replacing sim and rebooted . This did not change the prl back but their phone performed better on the new prl after doing this. Maybe one of these will work for you.

Gonna try that before I go to bed. Thanks for advice Copacetic!
Hey regarding PRL, the few times I have changed mine, it has reverted back on its own. I don't know the time frame though, because at least for me, PRL hasn't made a difference.
So on another note, I might get to see the new 787 today flying. It's supposed to be doing a low flyover of the PGA event on Hilton Head Island, and I will be getting my oil changed not too far from there. I'm an aircraft nut, so always get excited at the chance to see new ones.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I love seeing the newest large jets whether it's just online or at the airport.
So, strange problem I came home to yesterday. I get home and the wife's Rezound is bootlooping constantly and she said it has done it ever since she turned her phone back on heading home from work (school standardized testing so she had to turn it off). I thought surely a simple battery pull will fix it. Nope. Kept bootlooping after I pulled the battery and then put it back in some 20-30 seconds later.
I pulled the battery again and this time left the back off and powered it up because something seemed funky with the signal on the first boot with the back of the phone on. This time it booted fine and stayed stable for several minutes. So I disabled all the radios by putting it in airplane mode and put the back on. I took it off of airplane mode and then a few minutes later enabled wifi. Has worked fine ever since. Very strange.
Very interesting project. Still not sure on how exactly that works...maybe I need to re-read it.
On a different note.....played tennis for the first time in probably over a year last night and woke up sore all over. Never had that happen before from tennis...weightlifting..sure, but tennis?? I must be getting old.

Good morning everyone - happy Friday the 13th!
So its safe to dial *22899 to try and update my PRL?
BTW anyone ever used Appcelerator or PhoneGap? Trying to do some iOS development in them and trying to find tutorials seems to be quite the PITA but seeing if anyone has any experience.
Check your baseband version in about phone. The new radios are I515.09 I believe.
That is the hardware version of the particular phone. The V.EK05/EK02 (4.0.2) or V.XXXX are the radio versions.
Watching Idol last night made me not want to watch it again
Yeah Jessica has an amazingly incredible voice, but zero personality for this title. Great performances last night by all, but ended with a "thud" last night imo. Is Steven out to get Holly he needs to lay off her

Yes I will be going here one day. I once witnessed a Jeep Cherokee get blown off the road by a C-5 jet blast when it was taking off from Daytona Beach Intl. Was funny.
