Well, I don't think I'll make it down to the Nat'l Mall, but I'll at least get outside the apartment to see if I can spot the Space Shuttle. Should be around 10am this morning. I think they're supposed to fly as low as 1500 ft downtown so hopefully I have a good shot. For those who are bored, here's a feed to Dulles Airport. It should land ~10:45 est. NASA - Discovery's Final Landing
Okay, that picture gave me a woody. BTW, the little bitty chase plane in the lower right hand corner of the picture? That's a T-38 Talon and I used to fly those. Talk about a hot-rod sports car of the sky! It could go supersonic and roll 720 degrees per second.
Not a nightmare at all. Sad perhaps, but I'd give my last testicle to see that. (Oops, was that TMI?)
It was really great to see how many people turned out in the city. They closed down a couple bridges and traffic nearly came to a stand still for 20min.
Also cool that the pilots went more than 20min late so they could do a few extra flybys for all the folks.
My app is now up on the market! After hours of headache trying to get the icons sized right, the app named right, and setting up my dev account it is finally up!

Morning all and happy Wednesday / hump day! I got Appcelerator running last night and hahve started my iOS programming of my Weight Watchers app. Tons to learn but hoping to have it up and submitted in the next few weeks just to gauge interest. I hope it has the same interest as my Android app due to its simplicity, but we will see. Looking at iOS gave me some great ideas for my Android app as well so hopefully good things come to both of the apps!

Made a few UI changes from yesterday. Got rid of the title bar to add a tad more real estate and added colors for number missed and the grade to better distinguish between the columns and just for a little more style points.
Good morning fellow Gnexers - made breakfast for the crew and now it's off to the vet to get Lucy the Dust Mop her shots for the year...
I'm glad I'm at work. Reconstructing my yard with nothing but a rototiller, shovels and rakes is killing me on the weekends. I go to work to relax. And I like the new smileys. This one is killing me, I don't know where I would use it:toilet:
She's a Shih-Tzu / Poodle mix... I'll let your imagination come up with what the abbreviation we call her is
Hmmm..oh the possibilities, lol! Still a cute dog You should see our dog lineup. Almost impossible to get a picture of all three at once, but we've got a 5lb Yorkie, a 15 lb Westie (Lucy), and a 100 lb Lab/Labradoodle mix. Funniest thing is the 100 lb Lab getting down on the ground as low as possible in submission to the 5 lb Yorkie.

Well if you work six days a week, do you technically even GET a hump day? Those of you who work six days a week are either going to have to start working every day, or knock a day off of your schedule. Hump day laws prohibit working even numbered days.

Svt, congrats on finally releasing your first app! I would suggest that you also include a free (ad based) app. I require that I can test an app before I make any purchases.

Thank ya! I do plan on releasing an ad-supported free app. It just takes a little more time to set up my ad account and add the code. I did create some more room in my final version of the paid app so it would make it easier to place the ads in there when the time comes.
Regarding the Andriod nickname...the guy I sit by at work usually asks me any tech questions, especially tablets and phones, and my name is Andrew...so easy transition to Android.

Done that. When I view my profile it shows up, but not here.
