Anti, beautiful picture of the kids! In this pic, the baby's hair looks more blonde, they are very cute. All this talk about bacon, time to make some and have the smell wake up this sleepy house. I am thinking bacon with potato pancakes this morning, off to see if I have sour cream!

Funny you should mention that since we were talking about it last night....
I have a degree in aeronautical engineering....and work an office job for a company that sells breast implants and other health products. My better half has a degree in biology....and works for the same company.
Our friends at dinner last night...one has a degree in cosmetology and works with us selling boob implants and her husband is a self taught web designer....and works from home.

Morning all!! Hope everyone's weekend is going well.

On AOKP B33...

I like mine from firm to crispy. As long as it does not bend when I pick it up.

A regular haunt for me. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Running B33 on a Boot Manager slot. Loving the ability to test and not wipe the main ROM.

With ICS Boot Manager has some issues. Mostly my learning curve pperhaps....... It does not play nice with all GAPPS. I had to find an older one. It is hard to get inverted gapps to take. You also have to disable Super User's logging. I did finally get the kernel I wanted to flash.

Morning all!!!

I am a printing broker. I get some of the store brand labels printed and shipped to the plants that put the products in the cans. Right now our biggest account is C&S which encompasses Piggly Wiggly and Best Yet. I also have worked with Food Lion, ShopRite, Price Chopper and a couple others. It really boils down to glorified Customer Service Rep.

Then You know I Be Jammin Over Here! My Audio. Its an old pic. No more VCR for the Kidd's stuff, its a Blue Ray now. The TV is a wonderful Hitachi plasma I will sorely miss if it dies. The components are Onkyo. The covers are off for the photo opp.

A matched speaker system by Dahlquist R.I.P.. A high end audio maker bought them out to kill them from the competition. Its a 7.1 surround setup.

Samsung is building up excitement for the Galaxy SIII!

A Whole New Universe

You linguists out there may recognize that "tgeltaayehxnx" is an anagram for "The Next Galaxy". This little gem of a website has a countdown, slated to end sometime early tomorrow! Presumably to show the first teaser for the SGS3.

Still, I thought it interesting enough to share

So Joe Lieberman came in for lunch today. I chatted him up for a minute, asked him how our pizza compared to New Haven. Bit of fun. I sort of implored him to get the president to visit. Hopefully there's some help there. Ha!

We've had temperatures from almost the 90s to the 40s. Now we have a winter storm warning from tonight into Tuesday.

Hey Chief, we are 66 over here on the coast, but was a rainy day all day. Tonight we are going to 46, cold for here at the end of April. Its only going to be in the 60's tomorrow but back to upper 70's low 80's later this week. We are going to take advantage of this "cooler" temp to finish up some work in an attic at one of our rentals. Once the temp gets much hotter, an attic can be a miserable place to be, lol. And yes it is quiet in here, thus our weather talk, hahaha

Talking about quiet:

Last year the neighbors across the street from us made the midnight run and the house has been vacant ever since. On Friday, the renters to the left of us moved. Now, the neighbors to the RIGHT of us have a "For Sale" sign in their yard!

Do we make THAT lousy neighbors? Are our dogs that bad? Do we need to take more showers?

I'm starting to get a complex here...

Working in the real estate business this is unfortunately not too uncommon. Did they leave the copper?

That's too bad about the cold rain, but it's not a bed of roses here in southern Utah either. It was so hot today that I sweated off my sunscreen and got a sun burn

I manage a casualty insurance program for a non-profit risk purchasing group that places liability insurance for a group of about 120 resorts, hotels and private clubs across the country. Very non-tech, although somehow, my tech brain is called upon frequently since I'm one of only two technically inclined people in our little 9 person office.

But with Tennessee leading the nation in meth labs and meth addiction, I figured I could throw that in realistically.

No, the renters who moved out were both engineers at Arnold AFB (aerospace test center - wind tunnels and other fascinating stuff), and the wife neighbor with the "For Sale" sign is actually a CS Supervisor for...

+1 on that! Thick sliced applewood smoked bacon just crispy on the edges and slightly chewy in the middle is where it's at!

Where's that global warming when I need it...
Sat out in this freezing weather for over 8 hours Saturday watching baseball, spring football, and a concert. Had a great time, but it would have been awesome had it been about 10 degrees warmer with no wind and no clouds.

You got me on that one Chief, lol. We keep up with other Landlords around here on what is happening in each others rentals. For the most part people are great and leave the place close to how they found it. However occasionally, you get the horror story tenant who leaves the place full of trash and in need of major renovations. One day, we were having breakfast at a local greasy spoon when another property manager/owner came in clearly distressed. One of his tenants was arrested for cooking Meth and his property had over $60,000 in damage to it from having been a meth lab.

Is anybody running the new LiquidSmooth 1.3? I tried it, but keep getting launcher crashes and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I've flashed back to 1.25 for now, but if there's something I'm doing (or not doing) that is causing the launcher crashes, I really want to give 1.3 a good whirl.

I have a previous landlord who is now a good friend of ours (we were one of his "good" tenants ). He's a Section 8 landlord and tells me horror stories that would make your skin crawl.

Yeah, that meth is some BAD stuff. House has to be basically condemned because of the chemical fumes in the walls, little kids have to go to the hospital for detox before being placed in foster homes while mommy/daddy go to jail... it's the devil's drug, I tell you. Easy to cook, easy to find. One hit and you're addicted for life. Ruining lives and families by the dozens a day

Morning everyone - had quite a weekend.

Went out with the girlfriend for hibachi and bubble tea on Friday - a very nice and relaxing night. Saturday was car day so spent all day putting the wheels together and finishing up polishing and stuff to finally get them on. Went to get the tires mounted and one of them was bent so wasn't holding air correctly, but they told me the fixed it. I came home like a little school girl and mounted them on the car and they looked amazing. Then I went to drive it four hours later and the tire was flat. Then it rained all day Sunday so couldn't work on the car at all so now its sitting in my girlfriend's driveway with a flat tire.

Going back today to put two stock wheels on the front and then get estimates on this bent wheel to try and get it fixed so it holds air. I was so frustrated (I know stuff happens) but I think it was just a let down because of how excited I was to get them on the car.

BTW this is what it looks like with the wheels on and tire with air in it. Stoked on how it looks though.

Looks good Stigy! Sucks about the bent wheel though. I've had that happen to me before. Held air correctly but wore my tires out pre-maturely. Had about 15k on the tires and started showing belt in the inner edge. Tire shop said it was a bent wheel so I just ordered new ones.

I like you a lot! Yes, most things taste better when you're taking them from someone else. Same applies for sweatshirts and sweaters too - I have taken many of my Dad's worn in articles of clothing. He then gets a new piece to replace it. Its a win for everyone.

I need some ringtone help.

I'm trying to find, and download the ringtone Soft kitty, where Penny sings this little ditty to Sheldon when he's sick. I tried this through the market using a mp3 converter, and thought I had it.

However, when I open the Nexus connected via USB and use file explorer to "see" my files, I only have "hangout" ringtone showingup in Notifications, and nothing showing up in Ringtones at all. I'm using Windows explorer to view the files on the nexus.

Is it possible the Nexus has "hidden" files ala windows?

Any advice on which website to download a the song, then an editor to shorted it to two seconds, since that's all I want for my notifications?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks svt & Roze!

Yeah my friend is going to look at it tonight for me - see what he thinks. I know it'll all get fixed, it always does. Sometimes I just get stressed and frustrated over little situations.

BUT I am glad the rears hold air because this is what I was driving on - I know, I know. Bad, bad Stigy.
