I think I make it with equal part apples-bananas and 1/2 amount of celery sticks, lol. Experiment and see how you like it

When my family got the juicer, we were told that apple and carrots hide the taste of most vegetables.

I read that. Also, to freeze bananas. It makes the juice cold and thickens a little.

Banana popsicle! They are so yummy to suck on, lol. Though I don't recommend sucking it in front of other people. As my flat mates said when I did it in front of them, 'that doesn't look very appropriate Roze' >_>;;;

CONGRATULATIONS Dreadnatty!

Our smoothies:

Frozen Whole Strawberries
Plain Yogurt
Milk
Sugar to taste

Whip that stuff up in the Ninja until it's a consistent, frozen pitcher of yummyness.

And then I top it off with a massive chocolate malt

EDIT: I recall posting a thread last year challenging everyone to go gold to support the forum. Seems like everyone's skipping that and going straight to GREEN!

Makes sense: why not pick people for staff who are dedicated to the cause and willing to put their money up?

I love these. They sell them in the store here as Diana's Banana Babies. Really satisfying if you have a sweet craving and not that bad for you.

If I'm trying to be healthy, I do the strawberries, yogurt, milk and splenda. But if I'm throwing caution to the wind, it's frozen bananas, peanut butter, yogurt, milk and splenda. Still not horribly unhealthy, but tastes so good, you would swear it was!

Morning everyone!
So the wife came home early from work yesterday so we could go out. Visited the Portrait Museum downtown. They had a really cool Annie Leibowitz exhibit up. They weren't protraits, but they were of her travels around America documenting famous artifacts. (For example, photos of Lincoln's top hat, a tv that Elvis shot out). It's a gorgeous museum, and like all Smithsonians, free!
We saw the movie Jiro Dreams of Sushi afterwards. A really well made documentary of the undisputed best sushi chef in the world. Still going strong at 85 and has no intentions of retiring anytime soon. That's some dedication there!

Good Morning. I need some coffee.

But while I go get that, here is a link for you to peruse... I don't know if this has anything to do with Apple putting mini-stores into some Targets, or if it is just Target not wanting to sell something that helps their competitor, but its interesting regardless.

Target to stop carrying Amazon Kindle hardware due to 'conflict of interest'? | The Verge

So, apparently Leann Rimes is in cahoots with the paparazzi to take pictures of her in bikinis everywhere.

Morning all - happy hump day (to some of us).

Trying to find somewhere to take the girlfriend for our 1-year anniversary later this month. Any NJ people have any favorites? I know we all live relatively close to each other at least in Northern NJ.

Having a hell of a time coming up with an iOS icon for my app - anyone good at icon design, etc? This is what I have so far (and screenshot on device below). Just always ends up looking awful once on the iPhone.

I think if you enlarge the icon so its the entire block it might help. Or a different color as the background - I agree with svt, the gray is too harsh.
Edit: the other option (after seeing the black and white ones) might be a blue background to match the keys with an outline around the actual calculator.

As for dinner - in Clifton there's a spectacular Italian place called E&V. My brother and his wife like Chakra in Paramus for nice dinners too.

But while I go get that, here is a link for you to peruse... I don't know if this has anything to do with Apple putting mini-stores into some Targets, or if it is just Target not wanting to sell something that helps their competitor, but its interesting regardless.

Eww, don't like that at all. I was thinking it would get you something like the iCal and other icons. (Why hasn't Apple tried to trademark iCons )

I'd prefer not to head into the city only because I hate driving/parking in the city and public to her area doesn't come often enough to be convenient.

Gotcha. Don't have much of a perspective on transportation up there for you locals. Just took taxis and subways when we were there last year. I would never drive anywhere in Manhattan...traffic was rediculous and road conditions sucked as well. Never seen anything like it. Didn't see any parking available either so I didn't know if that was a secret that only locals knew or if it just wasn't available, lol.

Anyway, this was where we went. You may have been there though. It was something different for us being from the south. I guess we've got nice places like that here, but we never go. Most people were dressed really nice, steaks were delicious and some of the sides seemed very original and were tasty.

Hmmmm maybe a scale for an app icon? Not sure if that makes sense as its a calculator, BUT it is a weight watchers calculator. Ignore the rough blue edge, tried doing it in Paint at work.

Last icon post and I promise I'll stop for the day -- I appreciate all your help! Might try to make the scale display bigger so you can tell what it is. OR might make the scale smaller and give it a colored border like the previous iterations.
