Thanks all - trying to figure this out. There are tons of apps currently in the app store that use the Points/PointsPlus in relation to weight management so my thought is to change the word points to something.

Someone in the app store seems to call them BITES, so I don't want to copy that. I was thinking Nibbles or WLU's (Weight Loss Units).

Anyone have anything clever or witty? Ugh definitely did not help my day.

Instead of "points" use "apples" as a unit of measurement

Just have a photo of a Xphone (use your imagination here) and each point takes a chunk out of the icon

I like WLU's. How about daily intake allowance?

All these phone companies can suck my big toe. I think the amount they charge us every month is ridiculous. I wish I had some bright idea to solve it, but I don't. So I'm just going to bitch like everyone else and continue to pay. I would love to go back to a dumb phone, just can't bring myself to do it.

LOL I think I might do the following and your thoughts are always appreciated. Feel free to revise my description as well below.

Rename Points everywhere to Nibbles. Rename the app "Nibbles Calculator and Tracker" - and make the name under the app just called Nibbles, keeping the same icon. Then change my keywords to nibbles, diet calculator, diet tracker, weight loss, etc.

Change my description to something like:
Quote:
Nibbles Calculator & Tracker is the most convenient way to calculate and track the value of the foods you eat - AND its FREE!

I am dedicated to delivering quality software so if you have any feedback, ideas or if you would like me to implement a new feature please feel free to contact me at ios@mattdonders.com - I love hearing from my users!

This app is compatible with the new Nibbles Plus system while still supporting the Classic Nibbles system.

√ Calculate any food's nibble value by entering its Nibbles Facts
√ Full tracking capabilities for Nibbles Plus and Classic Points system
√ Supports use of weekly Bonus Nibbles
√ No WiFi / 3G required
√ Various user Settings
√ Very user friendly with intuitive user interface
√ Active development and open to new ideas.
√ Low, low price of FREE (ad-supported, but can be removed via In-App Purchase)!

Please note that this app is intended to be a very useful supplement to your weight loss program but is not intended to replace it - please only use this as a guide or helpful tool.

If you like this app please leave me a review or feedback so that I can improve it.

BB, what will you do with your iPad when AF declares a boycott of Apple products?

Haha. I'd have a problem cause the occasional time Nyxie dies the iPad is next in line while she charges. I guess you'd see me less.

And what about those of us using Mac laptops? I know there are several in this thread alone.

Evening everyone!
On my way home, but it looks like the lady is trying to use the Rhapsody account. It can be a constant battle when we're both in transit. She generally gives in to me so I'm all good.
What's everyone doing for dinner?

Good evening Dread. Looks like airport food again for moi.

I decided to flash the latest AOKP this afternoon. I was a little cocky and wasn't paying as much attention as I should. The second after I selected wipe data it hit me, I forgot to do a nandroid! I tried to pull the battery to abort it but was too late. Whoops.

In Atlanta. Actually they just opened a brand new terminal today so I'm going to hop over there and see what a 1.5 billion dollar terminal looks like. I'm betting there will be some nice eats there.

I would have been better off with hamburger helper or hot dogs. I wasn't that impressed with the 1.5 billion dollar terminal. Oh well, people don't go to restaurants to fly and they shouldn't go to airports to eat.

ATL has ANOTHER terminal??? Where did they put it?

I used to live in College Park, almost at the end of the runways. I was there when the old old Atlanta airport closed and the new Hartsfield Airport (before the -Jackson part) opened.

Lots of runways, 4 concourses, underground trams with robotic voices... it was revolutionary and HUGE. The absolute BOMB-DIGGITY* of airports in the late 70s.

But for the life of me, I can't imagine where a NEW terminal would go. And $1.5 BILLION? It had better have gold-plated ramps or something!

Four concourses? Been a while since you've been to Atlanta Chief? There are now seven. T, A, B, C, D, E and the new international F. Since over 60% of Georgians know their ABCs, that T (I'm assuming it was named that for Terminal) before A concourse is really confusing. (Just kidding, Dan and Anti)

They also added a fifth runway a few years ago and just recently replaced the old robotic voice with a soothing BabyBluish voice.

DC lost one of our home town greats yesterday, Chuck Brown. I'm not a huge fan, but folks in DC go wild for go-go.

OK, a little vent here, I was just browsing the Google play app store from my laptop. I am really surprised by the number of almost pornographic icons for some of the apps. Unbelievable!

Especially when it is an area where children can theoretically get access. But if you think that is bad, check this out.

Books A Million's sexuality display draws Christian blogger's ire | The Tennessean | tennessean.com

Notice by the picture where the section is placed, directly between the front door and the kids section (See "Kids" in the picture in the background). Now I am not saying these books don't have value, but a responsible store should take extra care to place them in an area unlikely to be seen by little eyes.

BTW, in case you couldn't guess, picture on the story not quite SFW

Thanks Anti, Parents have an almost impossible job today. Raising your children with the values important to you and your family when you are assaulted by questionable material at every turn. Your job as a parent is one that requires always keeping your scanner going even in places that seem benign.

The horror! I don't have kids, so I won't comment. She's getting hammered in the comments section though. Yikes!

Kids just aren't allowed to be kids anymore. No wonder tweens are having babies and essentially ruining their lives without even having lived one yet

One of the "stars" of one of the reality shows about teen moms lives here on our island. No, we as a community are not proud. It is really sad the direction our society is going not only that babies are having babies, but that in some arenas it is even encouraged and glorified. On a positive note, even this young woman's peers here are dismayed!

Those comments are hilarious. Sometimes I miss living in the South.

I will be honest, I don't think those commenters are from the south. The story was linked from a conservative blog which gets a lot of negative comments, I have a feeling they migrated over to the Tennessean website from the blog, and continued with the same stuff there.

Yeah, it's pretty clear which side the commenters are on. I was just saying the Southern lifestyle is something I miss sometimes. I live right on the border of the south, but DC couldn't be any different than Hickory, NC where I used to live.

Morning!!! I had to wake up extra early today and catch a ride with my bro. I skipped (yes literally skipped) into work 20 minutes early. My manager complains that it's wrong to be so happy in the morning.

Ain't that the truth. I need to go visit again, it's been 12 years since I've been to the Smithsonian.

I don't understand morning people. I'm happy for those of you who are, I'm just not among you.

Good morning everyone!

It's a great place to be a tourist! Most of the museums are free and they put on some fantastic exhibits. I used to actually work in the kitchens at the Nat'l Gallery of Art and when they had the Edward Hopper exhibit, the place was bananas! I could barely keep up with dessert production, it was a nightmare.

Oh wow that's awesome - great to hear from a user of the application right on AF. My goal is high quality apps so feel free to PM me with any inquiries or problems you encounter - I'd love to help.

Good morning everyone!
I like saying, 'gooooooooooooood mooooooooooorning' to everyone. 'morning' is such a happy word that it just makes me feel good. If I can I'd say 'morning' all day. I tried to do that but only got weird stares from people. 'good afternoon' and 'good evening' are just too formal and thus I don't greet people after morning ends. My colleague does point out that I said 'good morning to them 3 times already'.

Roze, I'm so a morning person. Can't get me up past 11pm nearly any night.
I struggle coming to work on Thursdays at ~1pmish. I'm like "Good mor....hey guys!".
