I'm not old enough for prostate exams yet, but when I do, I don't think I would like a guy to do it either.
I've always had male doctors do the finger wave, but we have new friends and she is a GP. If its not too weird I'll use her for my next physical because she has smaller fingers than long time doctor (who is also a biking buddy of mine)

OK, the men are calling for the gals to chip in to the conversation. First, I too chose to not have children. I always thought I would have a family as I love children. but as my career progressed (and I specialized in children) I found that i felt I had to make a choice about the direction I wanted my life to go. As a result of a lot of thought and prayers, I decided to not have children. It is amazing how difficult that decision is for other people to accept. I too have been told it was selfish etc. I am well past child bearing age and just last week my own mother asked if now that I am older I regret not having children. It seems that those kind of questions and comments do not stop. And no, I have no regrets. As to vasectomy, my husband chose to have one for the reasons other have stated here, its is a much less invasive procedure for the guys and he wanted me to stop taking oral contraceptive. So he had one 15 or so years ago and it was truly a non-event for him. I was to meet him at the doctors office. He arrived early for the appointment and they took him right in. I got there just before the scheduled appointment and he was on his way out, it was over. Now, his advice to those of you contemplating the procedure; follow the doctors orders, don't do anything strenuous for a few days and stock up on frozen peas !

On the topic of kids? Well, I guess one has to be attractive enough to attract a female in the first place for one to become interested enough into him to actually pursue a relationship with before the topic of children can come up...

Hi all...
Rose...so many pages back....yeah feeling like a super dude at work. The kind where no one knows what is happening, only that there are no issues. So no one sees I am doing 3 jobs this week. And the cabinetry...building a cabinet that will hold a salt water fish tank. Building this one for a friend....needs to hold a 60gal tank and all the filtration, so 48"wx30"lx36"h...and needs to support about 1000lbs total. Simple 2x4 framing but dark stained wood, cabinet grade finish, with all the detail work that my router can handle...should be done next week.
Engagement shots should be available in a couple of weeks, so we are (excited) .....to see them. Sort of as neither of us likes having our pics taken.....
For me, I have 3 children, all chosen to be born when I was in what I thought to be a committed relationship(20/20 hindsight and all of that)...and all 3 relationships did not work out. I love my children deeply, and look forward to them growing up. My current fiance would like to have a child, and although we have talked about the quantity that we already have...we have decided to try for one together after the wedding, of course as long as we both have decent jobs at that point.... After that...snip snip for me, I will be done. Turning 34 this week and need to be done...youngest is 5 oldest is 17....I would like to watch them all grow up and have families of their own.

Grrrrrrrr. I finally get everything done I wanted/needed to and sit down to watch a movie - I rented Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance- and my DVD player just keeps whining and saying 'loading'. Ok, fine. I turn off the TV and boot up the computer figuring I'll watch it on the laptop. Wrong again. It'll load the DVD but it sounds like a small prop plane is hidden in my computer and will wake everyone up. Damn damn damn.
BB, I thought that movie wasn't any good anyway? Hope you'll get it fixed eventually.
Morning everyone!
Last night, the lady was all tense so I offered to give her my pathetic version of a back massage. She kept whining that I wasn't doing it right and that she needs to get a real one like the day before our wedding. Little does she know what I have planned!

I think the idea is to have BOTH. Local for pain management, Xanax to make you not care that someone is cutting on the boys.

I would think that would be...uncomfortable...

For some reason, I imagined you were in your late 20s, lol. I bet you get mistaken for an older 'brother' with your 17 yo, lol. My brother is 18 years older than me XD
Morning everyone. So I think I wrote awhile back that when my 3 years contract with Rogers was up, I decided that I had it with contracts (3 years damn it!) and decided to do pay as you go. The objective was to cut back on spending. My phone bill was $80 and I felt that even though I enjoyed it, it wasn't something I needed. So, now I'm on a pay as you go of about $20 a month. If you re-fill before your month expires, you keep any amount you already have. Well...I filled it on the 13th of May and thought I would fill it again today. Seems like it had to be a DAY before your last fill :/ so, I lost the $$ I had on my last top up. I'm not happy *sigh*

What's the word with the GSIII? I have a friend who is thinking of getting one on Sprint, switching from AT&T. I haven't paid any attention to it.
He's been an iPhone faithful for many years. But lately he has been having LOTS of problems with his and anything At&t and the Apple Store do to try and fix it doesn't help.

It's sooooo slow today!!!!
Yesterday I had no *Roze* time, I was sad
got home at 6:30, went for an hour run at 7, went to the grocery store. Got home at 9 and ate dinner. Showered at 10 and afterwards, I cleaned up the kitchen and made lunch for my sister and I. I wasn't done until 12am >_<; So, I had an AWESOME lunch today, and I woke up late, rush and forgot half of them *sigh*
I'm playing soccer tonight and I thought I had everything at work. Seems like I'm a shirt short...so I'll have to run and grab that during lunch.

...I can certainly understand your concern about wanting to keep your unlimited data feature. Please know that you are able to keep your unlimited data feature as it is not a requirement when moving to a new device. For more information, please refer to our website at www.verizonwireless.com/shareeverything...
Just DON"T activate the phone yourself! ALWAYS call Verizon and let them do it, carefully, making sure that nothing on the plan changes.
And the 28th is looking more & more like a solid release date

Hi Chief!
Hi Chief!
Wow, can you believe that it's been almost 3-1/2 hours since the last post in here?
Yeah, insane! I thought surely the forum is down or something...
Well it's not: and don't call me Shirley!
HAHAHA you crack me up Chief!
Yeah, sometimes I crack myself up, but I'm usually alone and try not to tell many people about that...
Well, time to go do Guidely duties, talk to me later!
Yeah, I'm off to watch Return of the Jedi and wrap up the saga before son moves tomorrow - YAYYYY
Bye Chief!
Bye Chief!

The facts of the plan, combined with the discussion by the CFO saying they expect to see higher profits, proves to me that they know this is more expensive than existing plans for most people. I fully expect after another year or so they will do away with the existing plans for new customers, and a year after that, for everyone. They are trying to end minute and messaging tiers.
Agreed, Anti. I think that data is just overly taxing their network over voice and text so that's why unlimited should be the new norm.
When I do upgrade, I'll take a much harder look at other carriers. DC has great coverage for all of them.

Good morning folks!
Some article:
"The plan will work best for a family with several smartphones or a technology-savvy user with multiple 3G and 4G devices, she said."
I don't know what she smoked for breakfast, but I have four 3G/4G smartphones and am tech-savvy... and the new plan's gonna cost me close to $80/mo more. If that's the "best" Verizon can do... I will do everything in my power to stay on my current plan. Full retail here I come!

To be fair Chief, I don't think they are considering the uber-discount you are getting

Okay, okay... even taking my uber-discount out I barely break even. Roughly $300/mo phone bill. My only benefit in it all is unlimited calls. Woo hoo. Don't need that.
What do you think of Verizon's $80 dollar plan for all you can eat. The concern is only a gig of data. Seems like we'll piow through that in no time. I"m still unlimited until what, 18 months away.
I'm with the Chief on this, free calls, no thanks. Spend all day on it anyway.
Like being married to a nynphomaniac. Everybody wants it until you have to accomodate them, day in, and day out.

Packing some more tonight and starting the move tomorrow. Using my car and my girlfriend's dad's pickup truck. Should be able to do it in 2-3 trips and it saves us money from renting a truck for the weekend.

Happy Birthday geek!
On the topic of Share Everything: we could save money if our data consumption never changes. But what if we go from using 3GB combined a month to something outrageous? We get overages and regret ever changing plans. I once used 5GB myself going crazy when a hacked Netflix made it to the LG Ally. Thank you unlimited data!

Happy Birthday SVT! This move by verizon definitely would cost me more. We have only one smart phone, my husband is not into tech and does not want one (course he says why does he need one when he has me?), we hardly use any minutes or texts (he does not text either) and I have unlimited data. Btw, go into a verizon store and you might see one dumb phone, the push is heavy for the smart phones. Verizon really is our only choice. I keep hubby in a waterproof casio g shock phone, he can sink it, drop it, even run it over, and it's fine!
