I just got My $10 credit for Google wallet, but I am afraid to use it, because I have social anxiety or something. I'm just afraid I won't be able to figure out how to use it, and I will look like a fool. That being said, I thought I would use it at Starbucks, because their is sure to be lots of I phone users their to make jealous!

Should be pretty easy! I believe all you have to do is touch your Nexus briefly to the part that receives the data. For example, here's McDonald's:

Just make sure your NFC is turned on, however, before trying this

Morning everyone!
Finally made it to Dark Knight at that ridiculously huge IMAX theater. Honestly, it was REALLY good and I'm glad I didn't know any spoilers. But, wife and I agree that we like the first Dark Night (not Begins) better. Rises is just a little too serious and story heavy for me.

I was nervous the first time too.
I open wallet and enter my pin while ordering so when it is time to pay you just need to tap.

Works great!!
Morning all. So I had chores to do yesterday, but decided to play Sky rim instead...so now I have double the chores for today....oh well. Hope everyone's weekend is going well!!
Although I did get my suit fitted yesterday, so I guess I did accomplish something....
Played with my friends S3. I really liked it. Android beam and S-beam don't work together, fully. From what I read you can transfer contacts and links but not video or pics. That is a fail if you ask me. For me, any nfc phone should be able to share with another nfc phone.

We are having a massive storm here. It would be nice except for the flooding of a few areas at the campsites. Oh well. It'll dry out before we leave.
Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Well, I didnt, so I headed back up to bestbuy, picked up a couple, a 2pk of batteries and got home, plugged the box into my chain and started to dink around.
Why did I wait so long to get one of these!? Its an Electro Harmonix Small Clone analog chorus pedel, which, should sound pretty good on its own, but its stepped up a bit as its running through a tube amp (epiphone). This thing is going to be fun. The sound is great. While messing around, I switched on the reverb pedel (EHX holygrail) and got some interesting sounds.
Can't go wrong with Electro Harmonix! Love those pedals. I am currently redoing my rig. I was doing the standard - Mesa Stack with pedals etc but I ended up selling it all because I don't play live as much as I work in the studio. I decided I want to get a high quality modeling set up with a decent speaker cab to play with people. It would just be so convenient to be able to plug straight to computer and have that same unit be my live rig.
I am also looking for a nice guitar with midi pick up built in like the Ibanez RG1520gk <- rarrreeeeeee. I would also be nice to be able to play synths through my guitar since my technique on guitar outshines my piano technique.
Currently I am rocking for a guitar: Schecter USA made 7 string and an Ibanez RG520QM from the 90's MIJ. How about you?

Woo hoo!! We have a cake baker for our wedding cake!!
My brother in law does it profesionally, but his specialty is kids cakes and shapes with fondant...and we do not want any fondant...so initially he refused. Apparently my sister convinced him it would be easy, and cheaper to do the cake than buy us a gift...so he is doing the cake.
He is still worried about one of his cakes being the center stage to look at item at the reception, but the concept and pictures make it look easy....
So my friend came in from out by Pittsburgh last night. Before he got here I was on my 5th Shock Top Raspberry Wheat. When he comes in he hands me a 24oz. can of beer called Dog Bite. I've noticed it before but never drank it. It is a cheap beer, about $2 for a can. So I drank it. About half way through he tells me it is 10% alcohol. That would make it about 4 regular beers. The following pic is what happened after getting done with it.
Seconds later I ended up in the bathroom where I passed out for about 3 hours. I normally don't drink myself to that state, I don't like that sick feeling. I like to have enough were I'm a little buzzed. There was no stopping it from happening after already consuming half the can. Oh well...LOL

Wow! And how were you today?
BTW - that puppy is adorable.
I usually only like big dogs too, then my dad passed away and I inherited his little chihuahua /jack russel, and I fell in love with him. The funny thing was, I always hated this dog, and thought he was a pain in the a**, but now I treat him as if he were my child. My boyfriend hates him just like I used to. Maybe it's my dad's spirit making me love the little sucker.

I have the original PS3, for 6 years now. It finally broke recently but I got it fixed for a $100. A few year ago I bought($150) a broken original PS3 off someone I know because I thought I could fix. I couldn't. I'll have to spend another $100 to get that fixed.
Just watched the landing, first thumbnail photos and excitement at JPL. What an accomplishment.
On a related note, Apple just filed a suit against NASA, claiming they own Mars.
Morning everyone and welcome to our new guests! Cool to have a ROM Dev here.
Well, looks like I screwed up my N7 or something. Can't seem to find the problem. If anyone has any ideas, here's the thread: Already out of space?

So I see in the thread the backups were taking up space...did that work to remove them? Also weird that the TWRP backups were taking so much space, they don't on my nexus....
Morning everyone, welcome to the "newbs" or at least the newcomers!!
Have to take a whole day off since I have a Drs appt an hour away..takes about 3 hrs for one of those. Then going to the mechanic...the car is making odd sounds...hope we can afford to fix it.
Happy day (I hate Mondays...)!!!
Yep, they were 2.3Gb each vs. 1.5Gb for CWM ones. Guess I'll just stick with only one on the N7 and move the rest if necessary to my PC.
Waiting on the cloud Nandroid method to work.

Good morning everyone - happy(?) Monday.
Nice and relaxing / exciting weekend. Celebrated the girlfriends birthday which was nice. She absolutely loved her presents so good job to me. Got Hibachi on Friday (picture below) which is always fun except we had this really rude couple sitting at our table. Didn't stop giving the waiter problems the whole night - I really wish we would've moved us to a different table, but oh well. Stopped by a huge record store yesterday and I got her one more record - a first pressing on translucent red of a band she loves. So all in all a great weekend.
AND we're on Mars - this is incredible for science. Go science go!

I was pretty shocked when you said your N7 was already out of space, haha. I don't think I've filled up even a quarter of my Nexus.

Nice! Hopefully there's some footage that I can watch somewhere.
Yeah, my N7 is doing great, they both are. I' getting ready to swing over to your thread and see if I can help. I'll post in there.
Got it solved, found out backups were taking up so much of my internal storage.
I think I'll be fine, but now I'm thinking I should have got the 16Gb. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll even ROM it that much, but when I do I'll be offloading the bulk of my nandroids to the PC.
