Wait, was moto suppose to announce a new phone today!? If so, what the heck was it? Must of been pretty unremarkable seeing as I have not talked about it yet.

"Update, 11:40 a.m. PT: Motorola told CNET that it won't unveil a new device but that this is a Facebook game meant to engage Motorola fans by having them guess which current smartphone this is."

It was the international version of the Atrix HD. Very anticlimactic.

Morning everyone! Looks like Romney is going to pick his VP candidate today. Sources are pretty clear it'll be Paul Ryan. Interesting...

Yeah I was hearing that last night, Dread. I have my opinions, which I will not share.

RS, excellent RSRSS. The BofA one is a lifesaver for me, you have NO idea! Time to see if it works

Well looks like the app hasn't been updated yet with that feature. But this will save me a ton of time, as my wife does Arbonne and Premier Jewelry so we get a lot of checks, and the closest BofA is 30 miles away from our house. (We have a ton of other products with them, and except for depositing checks, I do all my banking online, also the branch IS near where I work, but I always have to use my lunch break to go to the bank).

I don't even have a physical bank.
Ha, they have allowed scanning of checks at home to deposit for several years now. Pretty neat. Fortunately, it's rare we actually had to do it. Had a ton from the wedding, and that was a serious pain. I actually double scanned one, bank deposited it and then sent me a "fun" letter letting me know of my screw up.

Well, you can check it in Astro once it's on the phone. Long-press the file name, select "Details" and wait for the MD5 to be calculated at the bottom of the Details window.

There is a great little free Windows program called WinMD5. It will quickly check MD5s. I have the .exe installer, let me see if I can move it to my Dropbox folder.

EDIT: Here you go...

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jezhl8v3mi778v6/14HiRICsh7

Just extract the program and save a shortcut on your desktop. A VERY useful little booger

Thanks, Chief, I'll take a look into it. Also, I've noticed that Chrome does not like the downloads from CNA (not sure if it's the source site or what). Usually bugs out towards the end and tells me that it may be a dangerous file. I have to switch over to FF to get it to download. Still on 3.1 but have nothing else to do this morning so perhaps I'll flash it. Changelog looks nice. Never used Trebuchet launcher, but willing to give it a shot.

Chrome downloaded it like a champ for me. Huh. Then again, I'm on Win7, that MAY make a difference, I don't know. Not the source, though.

I've never heard of Trebuchet either. All my homescreens are set up with Apex; I think I'll just keep them that way...

And I will finally be able to change the nav button colors! WOO HOO!

On Win7 myself. Weird, I try to launch that link to FF to download and it just hangs and never loads the site. Looks to be the same but Chrome decided to rename it an "Unconfirmed" download. MD5 is the same, but I'm a little wary to flash it. Maybe I'll try downloading it directly from my phone.

Backup is ALWAYS a good idea...

I have blue nav buttons! It's ROM nirvana!

Working splendidly... I had to select Apex and "Always" and redo my widgets. No big deal. Five minutes and I'm back in business!

Basically, it's a signature on the file to ensure it's correct (nothing corrupted in the download).

Basically, it's a signature on the file to ensure it's correct (nothing corrupted in the download).
Hahaha, well I was hoping someone would explain it so it was easy to understand!

This is the best response letter I've ever read. I would have hired her. Link for full story. NSFW(one word)

Yeah backup is good. I realized I had forgotten to back up the second after I hit wipe. Whoops. I hope 3.2 is a keeper because last night I accidentally didn't plug my phone (CNA 3.1/Franco) in and when I woke it was showing over 23 hours and still at 15% battery.

Thrilled to have my blue nav buttons back too Chief!

3.2 seems to have booted just fine. Only wiped Dalvik coming from 3.1, but no issues so far.

I got the same on both Chief!

i also only wiped Davlik and all was fine. Did notice that the home screens did not automatically restore this time and that i have gotten the notice google apps stopped working but have not had any issues. Anyone have any thoughts on this kernel? I may follow Captains lead and go to Franco if battery life is short like on 3.1

Good morning everyone!!

Thanks for the RSRSS - I loved the proposal article. And I read quite a few others and bookmarked a lot.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day so far!

Morning all, trying to take all this codename stuff in. Quick question, I can load this with lean kernel? I know these things can act differently depending on the phone, just looking for a starting point as I haven't flashed much on my GNex yet.

The hex code for ICS Blue is #ff33b5e5.

But, if you're referring to the Navigation bar color, just press the "!!!" button to get the default ICS blue.

I've been a long time LK fan Pup, but I've been having better luck with Franco 225-384 with CNA.
