Hey BB, a friend of mine is at Lake George for the rest of the week. Any suggestions for activities or tips on cool places she and her family should visit?

EDIT: Congrats to BB on 10K, and condolences to The Chief. You guys are both important members of this place, and I really value that we can all share our highs and lows together.

Depends on what they like. The boat cruises are nice for touristy type things. Great Escape is the amusement park and is nice. There is a really good bike path if they are into active things. And they can hike up a mountain from the bike path if they want. There are tons of outlets.
Now for my favorite thing - eating!!!
The Log Jam - delicious for lunch or dinner. Wide variety of food.
Martha's Dandee Cream - soft serve ice cream. BEST I've ever had.
The Adirondack Bar & Grill - pub with delicious burgers. They have sweet potato fries with a raspberry Melba sauce that is divine
The Moose Tooth Grill - more family oriented but just as good. Owned by the Adirondack bar.
I'll let you know if I think of anything else. Or if you let me know what they like I can go from there.

My condolences, Chief. Losing a pet isn't LIKE losing a family member, it IS losing a family member, and it's one that you feel for a long time. Thoughts are with you and your family in your loss.

So, another slight annoyance. Google Wallet that you can download from the Sourcery Tools isn't the latest. Doesn't allow for all credit card/debit card additions.

I'm setting up Wallet and it's adding all my cards - at the same time! It's been sitting here spinning for a good 10 minutes

Adding all your cards?? Do you have the latest Wallet app or are you adding Citi paypass cards? If you have the latest Wallet app, where did you get it?

EDIT: Awesomeness in that link Cheif. Pure awesomeness.

That's okay, I'm just joking As long as everyone sees it, that's what's important. It looks like an awesome concept.

EDIT: Question for people on JBsourcery and other JB ROMs, do you still use a custom launcher (ie. Nova Launcher), or have those become unnecessary?

Apex is baked in as default for Sourcery. I really like it. Haven't used nova since ICS.

Still using Nova/Apex because I like having the ability to remove home screens (I only use 1) and organize my app drawer better.

I have the latest apk if you still need it. I also tried the one in the rom and it would not add regular cards and could not be updated to the newer version. I had saved the other apk from when i flashed Vicious

I figured out how to get it. I just logged in to the play store and found the Wallet app there and pushed it to my phone from the web store.

Don't knock it before you try it.

It's delicious in both the hot & cold varieties. I've even gone with two shots of espresso for fun and I was bouncing.

Still have a few ghost chilies in the freezer. Ordered them through work. Took one tiny bite and spit it out immediately. Good luck.
Search YouTube for the Indian woman who broke the world record for rubbing so many ghost chilies on her eyes. Insane.

hey all...been busy with jury duty this week...

However just wanted to vent for a freaking min...
I came out of jury duty at lunch to find out that the company I work for (and my fiancee does too) is moving our jobs to Austin, TX by the end of the year.
Great.....peachy...perfect....oye.
And oh yeah, out of our 10 or so friends that we have at work...we are the only ones. Oh and our jobs are being moved in with a call center. Wtf??? Our jobs have absolutely nothing to do with a call center!!! Wtf???? Will we have any upward mobility in a freaking call center...NO!! We have moved through 2 other jobs before this one....aaaarrrrggggghhh
Okay, thanks for letting me vent!!!

Have a good evening everyone!!
