That looks... just awful. I 100% agree that the dude's twig and berries look quite squished, and being bent over like that would kill your back. I can't imagine ever being comfortable in something like that, not to mention that if you're going down a steep hill and picking up velocity, you would kill the hell out of your feet if you put them down.

It looks good, but I love stock android, and not a twinge of envy for me either.
So buying my wife the RAZR M next week. Which means I will be keeping the Nexus until next May. I am grateful I have not had any serious phone envy yet, but I am afraid that is about to end

Yeah I think I may see my bank account decrease by $119 for this bad boy - the screen looks incredible from their review. It just bothers me I can get one without the light for just about half the price.
Does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to get your own eBooks onto a Kindle?

Hear ya. We eventually cancelled our DVD subscription since we just streamed everything. The selection is always evolving and we can usually find something to watch.
Morning all...just checking in and getting caught up again....
Looks like we are leaning towards actually moving to Austin...kind of an odd and rather scary thought. Only thing holding us back now is kids...since they will be staying here, and our custody will change so dramatically.
Decision time is next week.
On another note...all of our wedding plans are falling into place. Looks like we only have the rest of the music to figure out...but almost everything else is done. Woo Hoo!!!!
Hope everyone is having a great-short week!!
Good luck Ryan. I've heard nothing but great things about Austin. The kids....
That's a tough one....

So my brother asked me to let his 'baby' out and feed him since my sister in law is away and my bro is stuck working late cause of the convention. This is the goofball
Just flew over BB's house on the way to EWR airport!! I waved. Checking our daughter into her dorm at The Joffrey Ballet. You regulars may remember our decision dilemma back in March and we decided to not pass up the opportunity and life experience for her. Still scary for a parent to let loose a 16-year-old in NYC. I wish NYC the best of luck with this one. ;-)

I think we are over due for the next thread! The Nexus announcement should be happening a month from next week!
Oh. No.
Please, no.
I still have the shakes from the last one!
LMAO

I remember that clearly.
I commend you on the attitude shift - watch out NYC!!
BTW - satellite photos confirm that no one looked up and waved at me during that fly by. No matter, I do have spare oxygen.

Easiest way is a program called Calibre. As long as it contains no DRM then it will convert from most formats to .MOBI which is what the Kindle family uses.
You could also upload to Amazon's servers and it will convert it for you.
Wow, I was?! Funny thing was, I made that one post, and then didn't post again until thousands of posts later. And still pulled off #3 behind BB and Han

Haha, I will be happy to participate, but I will not be getting a Nexus on release day this time around, giving up my only chance to my wife, since her Droid 3 died, and it doesn't matter that she was still under warranty, she wants a new phone every time her original phone dies .

Welcome to one of the worst airports in the world!

Very cool Pup! I haven't seen a walking stick in decades.
It must be the odd weather. I actually saw another one a few weeks ago and it has been years since I had seen one. This pic is the one from a few weeks ago. Not as large, but this is the type I remember seeing as a kid.

Yep, you were post #25 out of 88,756. Pretty cool. I didn't jump in until much, much later.
The thing I noticed most odd about that thread was that the avatar of one poster seemed to change every time I logged on. When I first started following the thread she had this "dominatrix" theme going on and I was just a little worried.
Since then I've learned she's all talk and no action.

Funny. There was a praying mantis at work the other day. Me and the other guy standing there started talking about walking sticks. I don't remember the last time I saw one?

Ok. So waiting for the piece to the hitch to be delivered before I can leave today and am catching up on Facebook crap. There is a page called Interesting Places that has some really awesome pics. Today though I had to chuckle. In New Zealand there is a place called Hooker Valley Track.

I rarely look at g+ from my phone or iPad since they changed the way it looks. I kinda dislike it with a passion. So I look when I am using the laptop which is kinda rare lately.

I love the interface for the phone and tablet, but HATE it for the iPad. Functionality is next to nothing on the iPad. You can't even block users from it that I can find. You can go to their profile and click block from the Android app.
I'm 99% certain that the guy named in the article (Michael "Haveblue" Guslick) is a guy I used to know pretty well on the Focus forums I used to be a member of.
