Morning everyone!
Saw this in a local blog about my neighborhood:
New Columbia Heights: Vandals strike cars on Monroe & 13th Street, spray-painting a bunch of them
How depressing.

Morning All! Feels awesome out today, 61 degrees leaving the house. Nothing feels better than the first sign of fall (considering summer is our extreme season. I am sure its closer to the feeling of spring for you northerners).

Morning all!!!
So a few updates....wedding stuff is pretty much done. Everything we can do ahead of time is done. Everything else will be done next week.

On the job front we are having some major issues....we finally got to the point last week where it looked like our only option would be to go to Austin. And then I got a job interview. Can you say more confused than ever????? Its a great job, perfect opportunity to show that I can succeed, and get paid for as much work as I can do....so now how do we decide? Cause my other half has no job outlook here....and my possible job won't pay enough initially to support us....so we are talking and talking and talking it over and over and over....
Anyways, should know more after a set of meetings on Monday. Oye, cutting it close and getting down to the wire.

On a good news front....my "guys party" has gone from 4 people attending to like 20....so that should be fun!!!! We are going to a local brewery for beer tasting, my current favorite label, Figueroa Mountain Brewery, and they have a huge outside garden with bocci ball, horseshoes and fire pits...oh and we can sit out there and have a cigar with our beer...can't think of a better way to celebrate with my friends!!!

Good morning all - love this weather and my Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks, YUM!

Ryan - that sounds like a great time. When the time comes for me to get hitched I will be doing something very similar. I don't think I am going to want to do the big party, get real drunk thing so craft beer and hanging out sounds perfect for me.

Ryan, Stigy, definitely the way to go. I did a golf outing for my stag party. Much more enjoyable than boozing it up.

So Apple keynote at 1PM Eastern today.

Any predictions? I think we know most of what we're going to see today. New iPhone with taller screen, higher resolution, maybe bumped up camera? I don't think we will see NFC though. We have proprietary WiFi Direct because Apple hates using standard protocols and maybe a surprise iOS6 feature or something?

Maybe new iPod Touches or new Macs. I don't think we see iPad Mini (if it exists) today though. Just waiting for the all the iPhone fanboys to say how revolutionary this device is. Its funny hearing them try to make fun of me because of their amazing new YouTube app. :|

At this point, Apple could unveil a stinky brown turd and their followers would buy it. This is why I will follow the live event and laugh at every "innovative" and/or "revolutionary" feature they throw out with the words amazing/beautiful/etc.

BTW I have two of these hanging in my apartment and just bought a 3rd - they are really neat vinyl stickers that you use to make art on the wall without painting or messing up the paint behind them. Video game ones are 30% off today - grabbed myself the Space Invaders one for the bedroom.

blik - NATIONAL VIDEO GAMES DAY = 30% OFF VIDEO GAME GRAPHICS

Could the infamous Apple press silence have been breached?

Video: Apple iPhone 5 First Look And Hands On!?

- 4" screen, 16:9 ratio, 640x1136 at 326ppi
- 7.6mm thick, 4.6 ounces
- 4G LTE
- 1 GB RAM
- A6 processor
- 32, 64, or 128 GB storage
- 720p front camera
- fingerprint scan to unlock

Could obviously be fake, but there's enough here that corroborates rumors to make it possible. Nothing about the rear camera unfortunately, I think that's going to be a real jewel. Still, some of the features definitely sound appealing.

Stigy, does the fingerprint scan fit the bill of "surprise iOS6 feature"? Haha.

Ugh stupid Fedex and their Delivery Exception. Forgot to leave a note and I guess we had a new guy. The regular delivery guy usually rings my neighbor's bell to drop off packages. Guess I won't have it until tomorrow at the earliest.

Just sat down from lunch, jumping over to the liveblog now.

EDIT: Looks like they're saving the iPhone stuff for later, unfortunate, I've got a meeting soon. I'll come back and look for all your reactions

EDIT2: Oop, lies, here it is!

Everything so far is matching the leaked video from earlier.

EDIT: They're saying this is "the world's thinnest smartphone." But the Droid Razr is only 7.1 mm, so they may have to check themselves before they wreck themselves.

Here is what I hear "Even though the bigger the screen, the better it sells in Android World, we are still insisting a phone has to be small to be "perfect"."

Interesting - it appears they've made some steps forward with radio/chip technology that will make the phone capable with everyone's 4G, worldwide.

Battery life now - 8 hours of 3G or LTE talk time or browsing. 10 hours on WiFi browsing.

8 MP rear camera - I know MP isn't everything, but the numerophiles may be disappointed.
