Morning folks!
Well, I was going to mess with the wife's Bionic since the ICS OTA is out but it would require another complete wipe (everything GONE) and she didn't want anything to do with it. Ah well, she's still on an earlier build of ICS and I doubt the Bionic will get JB anyway.

Morning all.... Well we finally got some pictures posted by the photographer, been a few weeks since the wedding and it was nice to sit and see them.... Remember that day.
As soon as they have all been finished, and I can get them all organized, I will post a link.
Good timing tho, we are going to take the kids and see 2 sets of my grandparents today... Both sets are not doing so well, age and health wise, so at least we can have some pictures to show them.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Good morning!

I don't know about you folks, but I thought that was one bust of a meteor shower. I stood out there from 10:45 to 11:30 last night - supposedly the peak of activity - and saw...

ONE.

Then I went out again from 1:00 - 1:30 and saw nothing.

Maybe I was looking in the way wrong side of the sky, but all I got was cold.

Someone tell me how stupid I am. I went on that lunch date the other day and we've talked some before that and after. She went to Ohio for the weekend. Well I'm at work last night she sends me a text...everyone is asking me if I'm dating anyone? I thought a second...sure why not. I don't date much so I just went with it. So I tell her...yeah, we're dating. I was content with that. Then two minutes later I get...so does that make me your girlfriend? In my head I'm...are you freaking nuts! I barely know you! Now I'm the go with the flow kinda person, laid back, likes weird and crazy. Hell, I woke up one day a little over 3 years ago and decided my life needed to go into a new direction and took up welding. I never welded a day in my life and now I work on locomotives. If someone told me that 4 years ago I would have laughed. Anyways, back to the text. I was thinking this is completely stupid. Is she serious? So I told her...yeah, I'll go with that. I now have a girlfriend that I've only been in the presence of for 2 hours. I can't blame it on her being 6 years younger than me(29 to my 35) because she does have a 6 year old girl so I expect some maturity. I've done a lot weird and crazy things. This is just...I don't know what to make of it?

I wouldn't run...just yet. That exchange was all by text, right? You just KNOW how electronic communication can me misinterpreted. What I mean as a joke is perceived as a slam, etc. Maybe have a phone call and proceed with caution?

Never been up here before till today. Taken from Chimney Rock. Off to the left is Duncansville. Right down below is Hollidaysburg. And in the back Altoona, where I live. But a lot of Altoona is covered from the hills. I didn't realize the lady's arm was in the pic.

Not sure if you can see way off in the distance? Windmills. They are everywhere around here. A place that builds them is about half hour away.

Well Halon, I don't know what you are looking for, but here is a story for you. I had a girl who was on a second date with my roommate, at our house for a BBQ. Anyways, she used my computer for a little bit to check her email, etc. At the end of the day, my roommate decided she wasn't right for him, and told her he wasn't interested in going any further. A week later I get an email, from the girl. She had saved me as a contact on her email when she was on my computer. Asked me out on a date, and when I said I dunno, it's too soon, she proceeded to ask me out every other day for the next week. I finally gave in (she WAS cute I thought when she was at our place, and made sure it didn't bother my roommate.) First Date she laid it all out there, she said no point beating round the bush, this is what I want, and sooner rather than later. Second date, I told her I was going home to my parents that weekend for easter, she begged for me to let her come with me, to meet my parents. After two dates!

Dad, I'm all backed up just in case... but I'm going to try a dirty wipe first and see if that flies. If not, I'll wipe and be back up inside 30 minutes

EDIT: Spit. IRC the devs are saying clean wipe required going to 4.1.2

Don't know if you guys saw in the S3 hole, I strayed to the dark side. Picked up some Apple Earpods, and you know what? I really like em! Very comfy and fine sound for $30. Wish they had more noise canceling and the volume rocker would work with Android but still. Recommend them for folks like me who can't find in ear head phones that fit.

Halon, I wouldn't read alot into those comments. If she hasn't dated in a while and she's really into you, then she's excited and that's completely understandable and a good thing. If she starts checking your phone, e-mail, telling you where you can and can't go, that's another thing. Right now she's excited to be in a relationship and have someone she can call hers. If there are other things about her you don't like and can't see it going further, then you need to explain that early and walk away, but don't run because she's excited

Chief, we went to watch the meteor shower about 11PM Saturday night and saw 10 or so within the hour, a couple were really good with long trails. I thought it was a decent show, but nothing compared to the Perseids. Got another one coming in November (17th I think) that historically puts on really good shows.

Good morning everyone and happy Monday - did a ton of work on my app this weekend so I'll grab some screenshots later on for you.

Seems like its going to be a busy day at work!

Hope all of your weekends went well!

Honestly I love my Chromebook and that one is awesome - you just have to be dedicated to living in the cloud on that device. I bring mine almost everywhere though and I find I can do most things in the web so it works for me pretty well.

Except for coding & photography editing, I love mine.

Good Morning all! Got unpacked at my new desk. I was kind of hoping to get a better 4G signal, since I am closer to the window now, but it seems like a little worse. However my 3G seems to be faster, as long as I can stream without constant rebuffering, I don't care.

Well my Gators are one win away from clinching the SEC East. Georgia is always an emotional game, but I have some confidence that Florida is going to go into the game strong. Then three easy weeks, and finish the regular season against Florida State. Interesting that both the East and the West have very pivotal games on the cards this weekend. FLA-GA and MSU-ALA are both HUGE games. I will be cheering for Bulldogs in one of those games, but not the other!!!

Alright, if they have em at BB tomorrow (I think that's the launch date?), I'll probably be walking away with one. If so, may look into selling my Prime.

HUGE games this weekend Anti! HUGE!!! I'll be pulling for the Gators, think they should win it pretty easily, but like you said, always a very emotionally charged game. Bama is extremely tough, especially at home, but if we play our best game, I think we have a shot. Our offense is very balanced and our corners are good enough to lock down and allow the line and LBs to focus on stopping the run. Hard to get expectations up after years of disappointment from MSU, but I think we've got a shot. It's just great to be in this position again though! A meaningful game this late in our schedule is rare, lol. Haven't been 7-0 since 1999

BTW I flashed CNA3.8 this weekend and its amazing - I am getting awesome idle battery life even on 4G. Not as good as Wifi idle, but still wow.

I am in love again!

3.8 is working great for me as well.
Tomorrow, (after I get my Chromebook ), I'll load it up on the N7.

Hi folks!

Well, I'm up & running on JBSourcery 2.5.5 and it's super nice. Thanks a lot for that Chromebook article: now I'm torn between that and the Nexus 10 tablet! Trying to figure out which is more cost-effective in the long run, considering data plans and cloud storage.

Anyway, good morning and happy Monday!

Chief, the biggest thing that bothers me with the Prime is: touch screen get's smudged a lot! The trackpad is okay, but not as good as one on my cheap laptop. Last, it's really top heavy having nearly everything stored in the screen.
I don't use a whole lot of apps and spend nearly all of my time on the web or TT here so that's really where I stand.
Plus, there's NO WAY, the N10 could come close to that price point. Rumored screen resolution does look phenomenal though.

I wouldn't do that. Still bugs on N7 CNA 3.8. Specifically notification toggles settings kills the settings app.
