Restored system data from TB, no problems. Using Nova so no problem with launcher.
So far, so good.

YES! This ROM is awesome.
You can also assign how many you want per row so if you have a ton you don't have to scroll.

Okay, I am officially LOVING JBSourcery 4.2!

The flat-out bomb - diggity of ROMs right now
Highly recommended!

I think I'm going to migrate from Eclipse and try Sourcery 4.2 tonight. Don't have a cord handy in case things go really bad. Always like to be prepared.

I've been enjoying the smoothness of JellyBelly, but if Chief says JBSourcery 4.2 is the bomb who am I to argue? Besides, I do miss the customization.

Think I'll give Sourcery a couple of iterations before I go back. JellyBelly is pretty stable for me right now.

4.2 JBSourcery is ROCKIN'! A couple of minor "bugs" but no doubt they'll be ironed out. This IS a preview after all

How is the battery on that? I have AOKP now and my extended battery won't last more then 5 hours

Although it may be a bad battery because it gets insanely hot

Morning all!

Have my company's engineering appreciation luncheon today, where they have a drawing for some nice electronics and other things. It will be the 5th year, and I haven't won anything yet, if I were an optimist, I'd say I was due... But I'm not, soo...

So I think I am going to start using my Gmail more. It's always been a hidden email for me, but I think I am missing out. Google Now has a lot of integration with it.

Sourcery was never great with battery life for me. I did flash Franco's kernel yesterday though.
Yep, saw the "magic note" about another release! May look into it today.

Good Morning Everyone! It has been fabulous here the last few days, mid 70s and gorgeous! Just flashed sourcery pre-release 2, restoring through Titanium now. I had a few bugs with the first pre-release so hopefully this one is a little better. Have a fantastic day!

GM all - glad to be back.

Tampa was amazing - sunny, 80 and no humidity. What a great little vacation and really glad to see my dad for a bit. Hoping to head back soon.

Happy Tuesday!

On another note:

Currently on JBSourcery Pre-release 2 and WOW - what a boot up!

I dirty flashed from Pre-release 1 to 2. And the boot up took forever (I'm talking 10 minutes), then it shut down the screen and the phone FROZE UP!

I pulled the battery, put it back in, went to Recovery, wiped cache, Dalvik & system and re-flashed it. Booted up the second time without hesitation.

Running smoothly now WHEW

Well, Chief, I may hold off on RC2. Wait until a solid build as preview is working fine for me.
As to the candy cigs, they're "gifts" I'll hand out on this years' Santarchy DC. I'm going for "hipster santa" and figured they'd be appropriate. Plus, I have no idea where to even buy them.

Oh, and Stig, should be an easier transition with how warm the east coast is today.

We had the Wii for a while and enjoyed it, but got bored with it quickly. I think we would enjoy the Kinect a little better than the Move system, but I have a ps3...Surely this close to holiday season I could sell it for a decent price with all my games and controllers.

Really I think the wife would like all of these Zumba and Dance games with the Kinect, that's really the only reason I'm looking at getting any of them. Haven't played anything on the PS3 except blu-rays in over a year.

thats the only reason my family wants to get a ps3 because of the blu-ray player ... and it is about the same price or cheeper then most others out there too and you can play some games on it as well so it all works out

Yeah we have PS3 and Wii, my son plays Need for Speed Most Wanted. He is really good for 5 years old. Really Good. Hehe, I love it! But haven't tried either Kinect or Move, so I dunno.

I like it!
Found a HuffPo article to "explain" this to me (hey, I'm under the weather ).
They also mentioned one that opened up in DC:

Edit: And FWIW, we went to the previous restaurant in this spot. It is HUGE!!! And downtown. I know they spent millions on the reno and it lasted maybe 3 years.
New place is run by a DC chef stalwart. Known for being insane in the kitchen. Menu looks boring. Wish them all the best though.

Those would be awesome! Thinking about a couple to stick on my dogs' collars. Basically a humane bark/correction collar with the buzzer and light In addition to the tracking...kinda pointless for a dog though...if you lose one, he's over 100 feet away typically

Anyone else interested in going to Google IO in May?
Google I/O 2013 scheduled for May 15-17
Thinking about it here. Plus, I've love to visit San Fran again. Been several years since I've been.

I'd love to go personally, but tickets are expensive, airfare is expensive, then you have hotel and food and local transportation costs.

I would love and kill to be able to go but money and other restrictions in my life make it nearly impossible

I would absolutely love to go back to San Fran and go to the Google I/O! I'd say less than a 1% chance that happens though, lol.

Didn't tickets sell out in less than 30min for the last one?

I'm thinking of switching to sprints galaxy nexus in the next couple months. Looks like a pretty sweet phone and one hell of an update from my ZTE warp.

Your thoughts guys?

^ Yes!
Sourcery develops for the Sprint version as well. Not sure if the latest build is available for it yet.
Don't know if we have any Sprint members in here but chat with Frenchy about his experience.

Well, I didn't win anything. In fact, it was rather annoying, I am in the biggest department in engineering, and out of all of us, only 1 person won something. Just for comparison, in the next biggest group, 10 people won something. Our group sucks at drawings

So long as it isn't VZW you should be good. Most of the pervasive issues have been with VZW versions. Me personally, I haven't had too many problems, and can't see myself owning another non Nexus device (at least pure Android).

Honstly try your hardest to get a nexus 4 from the play store
its a newer phone with updated sepcs and will have a very large development community behind the phone and it will work with sprint network... the only down side to that would be the no LTE (as of now) but if that is not an absolute requirement go with the nexus 4 at 299$ off contract price

How will the N4 work with Sprint? It's not CDMA.
