Have a good one Geek! Hope all of you that have been feeling under the weather are feeling better and all that ails you is on the mend. Welcome to our little part of the world Tube! We are a great group of people who have mostly been hanging out together for about a year, and welcome all.
I agree, I feel sick about the shootings. There are no words to describe how I feel, all we can do for them is pray for them and their families. Their is only one explanation and it is simply Evil. Be thankful for everyday and love like you do not have tomorrow, there are no guarantees.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Heard about the tragedy not too long ago. Still banging my head against the wall about how someone would do such a thing. So sad.

Have a nice weekend Geek.
As for CT, I will say this. My wife left for work today in tears of anguish, shear pain, for what happened today to these innocent children. And don't forget the 6 adults who also lost their lives inexplicably...but she was mourning the children. And for good reason; we have a child, as most of you already know.
To see my wife so moved by something so tragic was nothing new to me; yet I felt more connected to her than I have in very recent memory. She is the rock of this family no matter how I slice it and she proved it today with her honest show of emotions.
I feel sad for the man/men who committed this unfounded act of violence...
Like clockwork, my son wakes up as I am posting. Love you all. Hug your little ones.
I've seen Evan's classmates for the most part through two years of preschool (we live in a town with a population of about 7k) and all I can picture during this tragedy is their faces. You folks know how I feel about him, and children in general. I'm feeling a tremendous sadness right now.

Just a terrible tragedy. I thought about the families and friends of the victims today and I thought of my son and his classmates and teachers. I'm still in shock. My thoughts and prayers to all the victims.

I am just as shocked and speechless about what happened today as someone who wants to teach it hits home hard
... to look at the things to come what do you think is going to come of this ... yes gun regulations should be created (better then what we have) but think about this guy had mutipal hand guns that were not bought bybhim in a store there is always going to be ways to get around every law ... as a pro gun person my self I am digging in for the s**t storm coming
On another note early this week cops in California stop a plot to kill Justin beber but cops couldn't do anything to try and prevent this tradgy from happening
Happy 1 year anniversary Verizon folks!
Be glad you got the one, and probably only Nexus VZW will carry.
I was in a line of 2 at the RadioShack down the street (apparently the Verizon stores downtown had quite a few more). Whelp, I lucked out since RS only had two Gnex's!
Indeed, Happy 1 year to all Verizon users. This time last year, I was in line with my GF to get our gnexs, we were 4th in a line of 11, and she was the only girl. Guess that what happens when you hang out with some tech nerds
I have not been around. Why? I don't know. Because I've been busy doing all the work-y type things around here? I need to have more fun, like the gnex thread days.

I am having to go back to the stock messaging app instead of Handscent, seems it does not play well with. 4.21. Anyone else seeing this.? My issues are mostly with mms.

Stock seems to work fine. I read somewhere that if you pulled the messaging app from a previous rom version it causes this. So, I tried to delete Handscent and re install, but it still did not work. Hey Chief, did You notice the group messaging feature in the stock app?
Good morning all. Was woken up this morning by the neighbor above us trying to plunge his clogged toilet at 630 and for an hour straight. How annoying was that.

Morning everyone! I missed a lot the past few days....seems that I may have done a little too much, too soon and my body decided it was done. I slept for 12 1/2 hours friday night and another 11 last night. Today I feel 'normal' again. (Yes, yes, I know - 'normal' is a relative term for some of us)
Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Today a couple friends come over and we make houses out of graham crackers - our version of gingerbread but easier to work with. We eat lots of candy too then text one another later when we are miserable because we ate too much of it.

Hi all... Hope everyone is having a great weekend.. I am halfway done with an extended weekend, get to spend an extra 2 days with my kids at home tomorrow and Tues! Woo hoo... On a rainy weekend no less... Lots of cuddling here, movies, video games and egg nog!
Btw, Chief or anyone else with a GNex... , if you get a sec to stop into the Jelly Belly thread for a bit today? Might be great to get your opinion on a GWallet issue.... Thanks.
Hey everyone. My usual busy day on Sunday. First of 17 days off for me . Got the grocery shopping done, then cleaned out my wife's car. It was a disaster, an extended family of mice could have survived for a year with how much food leftovers had been dropped on the floor, or crammed between the seats. Disgusting. Of course I tell my wife don't give them food in the car, and talk to the kids about making a mess... Yeah, that lasts a week.

Morning Halon! We have missed you lately. The video is very cool, my brother loves trains. I am going to send him this video, he would think it is very cool!
I'm enjoying this morning, my kids still have school so I get to drop them off and pick them up, and a morning date with my wife. Then get to go to my kids gymnastics class which I have never been to. And doing some couch shopping.
Has anyone watched The Hobbit yet? There is a theater near Pittsburgh that is playing the high frame rate version that I want to see, need to get my butt there soon!
Yesterday I took one of my nieces xmas shopping and she wanted to watch Life of Pi. I gave her the book months ago to read but she told she couldn't understand some of the words. I told her to use a dictionary as she reads it! LOL Anyways, she loved the movie! As did I, for the second time.
