Morning all! Took my two boys to the museum of aviation in Warner robins yesterday. They loved it. Trying to indoctrinate them young with my intense love for airplanes
Well tomorrow is the big day, getting the Olde snip snip. Haha will probably mean I am online more the next couple days . Good thing we got some new very comfortable couches, so I have somewhere to recover

Good morning everyone!
Anti, have you been to the Air & Space museum on base at NAS Pensacola? It's not to be missed... absolutely phenomenal. And as a bonus: if you go at the right time of year, you get to watch the Blue Angels practicing over the base and bay!

Good morning everyone & happy Friday eve. Two four-day weekends in a row coming up because of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Pretty excited for some relaxation and down time.
One of my biggest goals for 2013 was to get organized and really get all the things I needed to do in one place so I wasn't overlooking or forgetting about things. I had tried basic to-do list apps, but I always overlooked things or forgot about it. I was doing some research the other day and found this system called 'The Secret Weapon' - a combination of GTD + Evernote. I set some of it up last night and it seems to be really helpful. Even without clipping all the stuff from your inbox and creating tasks manually it seems to really look promising. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Corporate training just sent us an e-mail saying we had to complete 6 online training modules before 12/31/12. LOL!!! Idiots. I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be back till Jan 3. Even more have already taken off for the rest of the year as early as last week too.
Sort of an inside joke between the wife and I. Alright, I'll share:
So, we went to UNC, well I only stayed for one semester before transferring. Anywho, I went over to visit her and her roommate at their dorm. Came in and said something really stupid (no idea what, but most things that come out of my mouth are stupid ) and she replied: "Who let you in here".
I just said, "The door was open" but apparently she meant getting into that college. Whoops!
So, we like to bring up that phrase from time to time.

Ah, SPIT! The world didn't end and I get to do anniversary stuff!
Good thing I
(a) arranged a beautiful bouquet of red roses and white carnations on the table
(b) bought TWO cards, one for public consumption and one not
(c) made dinner reservations
(d) made hotel reservations for the night
So don't look for the ol' Chief to be around much for the next few days. That's right, I said DAYS

So me and the fiancee went to look at our first wedding venue last night and it was awesome. So much stuff was included for a really good price - actually a lot more than we expected. They include the centerpieces and the cake and stuff that normally isn't included in the "per plate" charge.
If we go with this place, we honestly may end up do a "Cocktail Style" reception so its sorta like a buffet style but everyone can mingle at all times and there really is not sit down portion of the night which I think would fit well for our family and friends.
It's pretty exciting going to look at these places and pretty surreal to be honest with you. Its like its all starting to come together now, but I am beyond excited for this.
Exciting times for sure Stig! Really like wedding receptions like you're describing. Not really a fan of the more formal settings where you kind of feel stuck to a pre-determined routine and aren't allowed to mingle. Definitely makes for a more fun atmosphere.

Yeah Stigy, you clearly haven't been married 22 years! When my Darling Bride cracks the whip, it's not Bow Chika Bow Wow. It's putting me to WORK around the house
No, I'll be scarce because it's Christmas weekend, my folks are in town, I have RL things going on.
Well I'm out. The procedure itself was quick, but he didn't have the local anesthesia quite right, and let's just say that HURT! But he added some more and I was good from there. Of course my wife had to run to the mall while we were in town, so I'm sitting in the car with a bag of frozen corn all I gotta say is the world better not end later today, or I'm gonna be PISSED!

Women You're sitting in the car in pain while she's shopping. Hope the pain subsides soon for ya! I do not look forward to the day I go through that procedure.
