We are at like 8 inches right now. Still have freezing rain coming.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. I can't wait for this weekend to hook up my new Sony Blu-Ray/DVD. And I got the Jets sweatshirt I've wanted but wouldn't spend the money on.
Be careful in this gross weather on the east coast. We are currently getting sleet more than rain where I am. But the family went for for dinner to a rodizio restaurant (delicious) and are now waiting for Parental Guidance to start.
We've gotten 5 inches since about 430 so far, it's a mess here. Visibility is ok so far, by roads are a mess. I think this will be the last straw and might go to the subaru dealer soon and shop. I need me some awd.
No snow here this Christmas which is very odd but extremely pleasant

Whelp, after solely using my Chromebook while on vacation the past few days, got home and fired up the laptop. Took FOREVER to boot, trying to load all this extra crap (which, obviously I could uninstall). Have a couple tabs open in Chrome and try to load a restaurant's website and it just freezes. Ctrl-Alt-Dlt does nothing.
Go back to the Chromebook, open up the same site and loads in seconds. I think this probably the only "pc" I'll be using from now on.

Philly is about 2 1/2 hours so its more of an overnight trip because my mother and daughter are not the best for occupying themselves in the car for anything over 40 minutes....and that's possibly exaggerating on time. But if you are ever in Ridgewood NJ then I'd send you to The Stable for dinner.

Hopefully everyone had a great day yesterday. They're trying to get this plane rushed through development for first flight next summer so I was back to work today (grumble). For all you east coast folks, stay safe and hopefully the storm will be a let down like it was here.

Good morning everyone. I think we got 14 inches last night. Waiting for the official amount, but I guess I've got some digging to do. It's not over yet, more is suppose to fall today.
Wow, yeah, I'm seeing that on the news. My brother went to school at Cornell and told me about all the ridiculous snow storms they saw there. Lake effect snow is no joke.
It can get crazy here, and since the wind most often comes out of the north or west in winter, that leads to a lot of snow. If out of the north, from Lake Ontario. If from the west, from Lake Erie. That's the primary reason we average just over 100 inches of snow a year. It's great if you love skiing or snowmobiles; but probably shaves a year or two of life off your car.

Good morning all - happy Thursday (almost Friday)!
So I released V3.0.0 of my application last night and got two emails this morning saying people purchased the Full PRO Unlock but were still seeing advertisements inside of the application. D'oh my bad - I forgot to remove a part of the code that checks for the OLD Unlocker I was using during testing, eek. I fixed it on my laptop, but then I remembered that I don't sync my private key on to my laptop so I cannot sign the application until I get home.
I sent a nice email out and hopefully people are understanding and don't leave 1-star reviews for me.

I'm sure it happens to a lot of Devs, Stigy!
Too many folks just have absolutely no patience. Oh yeah, I forgot, that's the people I serve at work.
Congrats on the update, how many downloads have you reached?
Good morning to all my excellent AF friends Hope everyone's holiday was merry, and that you all received gifts that you enjoyed. Also hope that everyone who traveled made it home safely, and that no one is getting hit too badly from this new storm. Just rain here in Boston so far. My big trip is already less than a week away, I'm getting pretty amped.

Issue has been confirmed as fixed from a bit of testing I did on my end - when I get home from work tonight I will push V3.0.1 update out to fix that issue and one more I happen to find while reviewing my code.
According to the Developer Console I am just above 210,000 total installs and just over 63,000 active installs. Not bad at all.
Razor, I have a TreeGloo case which took forever (and lots of frustrated emails) to get. It's nice looking, but pretty bulky for my purposes. Expensive as well (just about what you paid for your Targus). The one nice thing it does is channel the sound forward so if you're watching a movie/show, you get much better sound facing it.

They're very nice built, and I can post some pics if you'd like to see mine.
But, I can't discourage you enough from ordering one. If you don't need a case for 4 months, that's fine, but otherwise, I don't recommend them.

I got a rooCase for my Nexus 7, which doubles as a stand. Pretty high quality fake leather, which is creased to allow bending to make it stand. Not that expensive either, and service from them is always pretty decent. I'd recommend them for sure.
Just got in a little while ago from digging out. That sure was exhausting. Some of the banks from the plows are taller than me!

Appreciate your offer to post pics I think I'll stick with mine though. My first choice was actually this case, but I wasn't sure if it could get shipped to me in time. I also liked this one, but it was out of stock at the Best Buy I went to. Anyway, I'm sure you can tell that I tend to go for a more simplistic, black leather look than something that incorporates wood and other elements.

Yeah, that's a nice looking case too. Very similar to the ones I liked.

haha that sounds insane!
The most we have gotten in Cincinnati over the course of my 20 years, from what i can remember, is probably about 10 inches...the worst we had a couple years back was Tuesday night - Freezing rain...cancelled school wednesday...snow wednesday night...cancelled school thursday....more freezing rain and snow thursday night...cancelled school friday....the roads weren't completely clear until Monday morning...it was dreadfully awful

We got more freezing rain than anything last night and it really hurts when you get hit in the face with that stuff, ouch. People do forget how to drive though when there's even a dusting on the ground - really glad I put snow tires on the Rabbit this year. Plowed through the snow with no issues at all.
BTW, slow day at work so I whipped up this simple feature graphic for my Play Store listing - I will probably tweak it over time, but just want to keep it simple and I like the wood texture as the background for some reason.
Saw on the news this morning, something like several hundred car accidents in VA yesterday!
Tow-trucks paradise apparently.
That's cuz 95% of Virginians can't / don't know how to drive ... it can be a sunny perfect day and there is hours of back ups because of accidents ... and when it rains its 3x worse and snow people here flip a S'/@t lol

Hi RAZOR, Hubby got me a Nexus 7 for Christmas with this case : http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-fit-Google-Android-Tablet/dp/B008FLYROG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356649466&sr=8-1&keywords=moko
So far, I love the tablet and the case. I like the claws as it keeps the bezel exposed and thereby good sound, microphone and camera access. He got me the 7 because I am an avid reader and preferred reading on my Nexie over the 10 inch transformer tablet and I do not want a dedicated Kindle. The 7 inch is a perfect reader size and this case gives me the option of popping it out and holding it naked or sticking my left hand in the hand strap for reading in bed fairly effortlessly. Plus the auto on/off feature is just plain cool.

Hey all, in FL till Sunday. Went to Busch Gardens with the kids today, they loved it, my oldest was tall enough to get on their tamest roller coaster, and he loved it . But it was crazy busy, very difficult to get anything done with the lines. and tomorrow is Sea World.
