Good morning all - still swamped at work but wanted to check in real quick and contribute to the dinner conversation.

First day back at the gym last night - felt really awesome. Came home and made grilled tilapia over whole wheat pasta with a side of broccoli. Yum.

Good morning all!

So yesterday my wife walks in crestfallen, and told me she had just lost her month-old iPhone 5. We checked for it on "find my iPhone" and it looked like whoever found it turned it off immediately.

So we made our way to Verizon, and I was sure we would have to pay the early termination fee and start up another contract with another iPhone. It would have saved us a couple of hundred up front instead of buying a new iPhone outright.

What the sales associate suggested we do, though, was to simply open another line with a basic phone for $10 a month. We would get the iPhone on that line, swap it immediately into the lost-phone line, and downgrade the new line to the basic plan. Thankfully we had an old basic flip phone at home, so it wasn't a problem.

So we have to pay an extra $10 per month for the next 2 years, but it could have been worse.

I asked if we could do the same thing again once I needed a new phone, so that I wouldn't lose my unlimited data, and he said it would be no problem.... So now my Nexy doesn't have to plan on living for the next ten years.

And yes, we got the insurance on her phone this time.

Yes, yes and MORE yes!
I can't get enough of whole grains whether it's in bread form or actually cooked grains (love barley), but forcing it into pasta is blasphemy IMHO.
When I was at culinary school, I was doing some bread tests with my chef (believe it was for Whole Foods) with making hearth breads using whole white wheat (which is the crap you see in all the junk cereals to prove it was whole grains). Some of the breads weren't too bad, but making a baguette with it was just awful.

I always thought it was stupid that they never released a dev version of the maxx hd, only the plain hd. Would have been more enticing.

Does look really awesome but not being a gamer, just can't get into it.
Hopefully they do a little better as a Kickstarter to get it released than Pebble did.

Lol I have up unlimited recently... I thought I would get rid of it eventually so no point to keep it... Plus I rarely even go over 100MB. So I don't see any issue with buying a phone at the reduced rate.

It's really a double edged sword for me because not only do I want to keep unlimited, I also don't want to be bound by a contract anymore. The combination of freedom and unlimited data makes it worth it to me at least.
