That's still leftover from the blizzard a few weeks ago. You can have all you want.

My son is in boot camp in Great Lakes Illionois.... being a California kid, I'm anticipating lots of stories about how very cold it is. Poor baby! Lol

I bet. I keep looking at the news, he has never even been in snow, other than flurries. Let alone, run in it, shovel it, and whatever other physical torture they will impose on him lol. Good thing he is completely fit. With 4% body fat. I think he has a fighting chance.

Great to hear that your son is following in my footsteps, Kymberlin!

Let him know that school Navy isn't the REAL Navy. The real adventure is out there. So tell him to hang in there. He'll have great days and awful days, just like any other job. He'll just have them in places and situations that would make other people envious.

And get paid for it.

Give him a high-five for me when you see him and tell him I said WELL DONE!

P.S. And yes, Great Lakes is a miserable place to winter over. Brrrrr!

I'm also looking forward to doing more things on my phone (like setting alarms) and pushing them to the watch.
I enabled notifications via separate Tasker profiles and the one Task that sends a variable title (based on app) and message (based on notification) for only the apps I want to be notified of. Here are some good recipes for the Pebble Notifier and Tasker.

I'm sure lil Lin will be happy when he leaves as well. The news is he gets to go to Pensacola Fl next. That should melt him a bit.

I am quite sure he will take this in stride. He is an amazing kid. On his DEP he was making sure he could pass the EXIT portion of the physical challenges ahead of him. Exceeding 80 pullups by the time he left. And since he is a FB player running was no problem for him. He had a very strong upbringing so I am sure he is doing well. Can't wait to hear from him though... Kinda a Mama thing I'm sure.

Not sure I'll ever get mine. HAD to order the white one too.
Just watched the Glass video on The Verge. Still not convinced this is something I'll use. Who knows though how it'll develop.
I ordered 5/15, confirmed payment on 5/19. Haven't heard anything on it yet though.

Does anyone else play skyrim?
Trying to build a new profile, since the hard drive crashed and lost some of my game progress... Thanks Steam! Hoping to find some new areas to do on the game... And now with the dragonborn DLC... Awesome!

Sometimes I hate having some of the tech knowledge I do... Frustrating to talk to people who don't have any... Having some issues creating an Apps ID on the Samsung site (it won't take my cc#) so here is what has happened over the last 2weeks...since I have been told to call the 1-800-samsung....over and over and over and over...
Been lied to by 2 Samsung customer service supervisors who have assured me i would get a call back the same day by someone who can help me, being told that no manager talks on the phone so the call can't be escalated anymore. After 8 phone calls, multiple emails, chats and questions... Being told sorry, no one worldwide can add their CC# to our Apps Cash, sorry, you won't be able to use the apps on your TV and blue ray player because the website can't be fixed.
And sorry noone on the phone can take my cc# and load it to create the apps id...
Really?
Oh well, still trying and waiting for a call back... Again.

Anyone wanna try some free coffee and help me get a free t-shirt? Fresh coffee shipped one day after its ground - pretty neat concept too.

Just sign up for the free trial and cancel before your renewal date and you won't pay a dime. AND you can have your friends sign up and you get free stuff as well.

"Coming soon" from Verizon has to be the most vague statement ever made. I can't help but recall the number of "coming soon"s that we all endured during the Galaxy Nexus launch fiasco. No doubt in my mind that by the time this comes out we'll be on Key Lime Pie and looking for "Lemonade" (or whatever it's gonna be called).

Hey if you're on a 4.2.2 r1 ROM (like JBSourcery 5) and are having bluetooth connectivity issues (like a lot of people), there is a fix out that should work on ANY ROM:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38573056&postcount=664

Making a nandroid now to test it...

EDIT: Well, I wiped cache and flashed the BT Fix. It booted okay and BT connected after a new search for devices. So far, so good... but it will take some time to really test it out.

Jump in, folks: so far, so good!

Not gonna lie, good customer service really makes my day. Super nice bus driver and cashier at Five Guys. Gives me a big smile after a long day.

Haven't popped in here for awhile. Good day all.
Don't have much knowledge of the device, but what's the current firmware for the Nexus?

Non VZW folks are on the latest and greatest. VZW folks (like me) have tin cans and strings.
