I've tried so many commercial chocolate beers and honestly, the only one I've liked is from Rogue. I believe it's essentially Shakespeare Stout with chocolate extract added. But, man is it good.
Speaking of, try this:

Buy a Hazelnut Brown Nectar from Rogue and a Chocolate Stout and then make a normal black & tan with those two. Then you have a Nutella beer that is so delicious, it's amazing.

ALSO speaking of black & tans -- 120 minute is back out in stores from Dogfish Head. Me and a friend of mine are going to get 120 minute and World Wide Stout (both about 16% ABV) and make a black & tan that is referred to as Heaven & Hell. I cannot wait for this.

I've heard of those. WWS is one of the only high ABV beers I can stand from DFH. Olde School is another. Problem is, they're all SO sweet.

I've had it once. Can't say I really want to try it again.
Few places in town occasionally have it on tap. Not sure what the pour size is, but probably something like 10oz!

When I was in Tampa visiting my dad they did 6oz pours at their local Whole Foods, which was really cool by the way.

We still have a growler problem in DC (but, maybe it's changed lately?). I remember going to the one in the Bowery in NYC. They had an AWESOME beer selection and sold growlers of local stuff.
Got a bottle of some rare Bon Chien there. Delicious. Actually have another version of it in the fridge. Been there probably a year now, still haven't drank it.

Yep, the one I was referring to (and it's also HUGE!).
The one by my work just restructured a small dining area to become a whole beer/coffee bar. Their selection is fine, but nothing special.
If you're ever in DC, this is the place to visit:
churchkeydc.com
I rarely go since it's so expensive, but Greg Engert puts together an amazing draft list. He literally has huge pull in what beers come to the District.

Every report I'm seeing is saying the international version of the S4 is getting the octa core while the US gets the Snapdragon. I'm thinking eventually they'll put the octa core in the US verison. I know, I know. Do we really need an 8 core? No. But if you are giving me a choice, then I want it And I know the Snapdragon is no slouch. I want a Samsung chip in a Samsung phone.

Morning all.. This week has been nuts!
Happy PI day!
Some pretty disturbing articles lately, just wanted to say that... But I am still happy, knowing I am not a real smartphone user, and I can actually use my device the way I want to.... And I am still excited to see Glass, regardless of what some people think of as an invasion of privacy, I will make sure they are not a friend so glass won't recognize them.

Read yet another article with a pretty pro-apple slant: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/apple-defense-slams-samsung-010800910.html

Sure are working pretty hard to distract from the GS4 announcement. Almost as if they are worried

Good morning everyone - happy almost Friday.

I cannot believe Google is shutting down Google Reader - it is probably my most visited website. Found a few alternatives so far, will report back which I like better than the rest.

So sore from the gym yesterday, oof.

Here is the tablet mount I purchased for my vehicle that goes into the cd player. I got it on ebay and it was shipped from South Korea. I emailed Mountek about making one for N7 and the reply I got back said they have had lots of request for it and they were going to have something in about a month. I couldn't wait.

Welccome back Geek!

And no worries Chief - I am going to dinner with the family tonight and then to see Celtic Woman with my daughter so it will be a low BAC for me tonight.

Just finished dinner....if anyone is ever in Newark NJ and you like Spanish food I would HIGHLY recommend Fornos of Spain. Excellent food and service.

Awesome phone, super campy presentation. Let's hope that they get the next reveal right...

"Campy" is an understatement. I know the phone will be awesome, but why all the theatrics? What was the point? Talk to us like adults. Give us the specs, show us them in real time, adult-like scenarios but don't play it like theater. Sorry, I'm just a bit peeved about this.

Maybe it's a cultural thing?

I've only got one thing to say about all of Samsung's theatrics.

I sat through the whole thing. There's an hour of my life I want back. The crowd was pretty dead through most of it, probably thinking "What on earth are we watching; a tech presentation or a bad play?"

Maybe they were selling it to college kids and teenagers... but good grief, the theatrics were awful!

I'm just saying. Jobs knew how to get folks excited about products. Samsung is just pointing fingers at competitors and making unnecessary jokes.
