Morning BBK!

Haha, going through my tweets this morning, I see Stigy got retweeted by Pebble about his Starbucks purchase

Well got my youngest off his Paci this weekend. It's now been 4 days without it. I guess my wife had to top me, because she called this morning to inform me he had used the potty for the first time I can't believe after 6.5 years of diapers the light at the end of the tunnel has made an appearance!

My weekend consisted of work and helping a family member pack a moving van. Just before I had to leave for work I grabbed a couple boxes, turned and my back tightened up. I managed to make it through work. It was an easy night for me. Now the problem is my back is still in not so good of shape and I'm back to work tomorrow.

I'm watching E3. I'm sure apple just launched the best OS ever. Bigger. Faster. Stronger. Blah blah blah.

I saw two comments on Cnet about the new look of iOS.

1. So this is the kids version?
2. Designed by Fisher Price.

They tried to go minimalistic like Android with the holo theme, but failed miserably IMO by making it look like a coloring book a 3 year old colored. Added features Android has had going on 2 years now.

Game 2 of Charlottesville Super Regional resumes play from last night's delay in 22 minutes. MSU is 6 outs from Omaha with a 5-3 lead over UVA batting in the bottom of the 7th. SO FREAKING EXCITED!

iOS 7 looks like a steaming pile of Windows Phone, Jolla and Meego, with some iOS clone of the Roboto font in Stock Android 4.x.x.

It's turrible!

The policies that Microsoft added to the X1(connect to internet once every 24 hrs., used game restrictions, etc...) Sony said on stage they aren't doing any of that. AND. They are selling the PS4 for $100 less!

Morning bread!

Sounds like fun

Our area had bad storms last night too. Thankfully they were past our house before they really blew up. Lots of trees down and power out.

Glad everyone made it through the storms safely. We had a few pop-up storms here and there but everything missed my house, not even a drop of rain.

Good morning!

Due to me being a developer and handing Apple $100 / year, I was able to load iOS7 on my future brother in laws phone and the fiance's phone and its very meh to me in my opinion. Its definitely a huge design overhaul (similar to ICS for us), but there are a ton of inconsitencies. Keyboard is different throughout apps, its very "bubbly" and pastel, definitely some performance issues I have seen.

It's a good try and borrows a lot from Android, WP7 and even BB10 but I am sure its going to be a huge hit because (not to sound like a [beep]) but it seems like Apple users will love anything Apple puts out). We'll see how it plays out as it gets closer to release in the Fall.

I use it on and off. I am going to keep it for a few more months before I make a final decision especially since the price is discounted.

Yup.

If a guy who once beat up a dude in a wheelchair is in the Hall of Fame, then he should be, too. I'm looking at you Ty Cobb!

Pete Rose should definitely be in the HOF. The guy bet on some games, big deal. As far as I know, he never tried to throw a game as a player or manager. If they're going to induct guys that tested positive for banned supplements/steroids, then they should induct him.

Pete Rose should be in the HOF as a player. It's ludicrious that the all-time hits leader is not in it because of what he did as a manager.

It's different. I don't see it selling millions. Half a million if they are lucky.

Samsung is doing it the right way though, launch a flagship then fill niches, hopefully HTC learns from this.

These AT&T LTE market launches is making it more and more tempting to switch away from Verizon and their habit of "Verizon-ifying" of devices.

ESPN is killing 3D TV. Might be the end?

I never found 3d to be anything serious. Too costly to buy in originally, not enough conformity, and too many people get headaches from it.

I like my movies in 3D. Sports would be nice. Regular everyday television don't care.

Do you guys know of any ROMs with messaging access protocol (MAP) support? This is the first time I've been jealous of my wife's Rezound. Our new Edge has the MyFordTouch system and it will read texts messages for you if you have that support. Mine doesn't, her's does.

Morning everyone - check out my new homescreen layout. Something I found on the Tumblr of the guy who made my icon set.
