Best Buys order online then pick up in-store is a mess. I've used that option and you are told to wait for an email. Oh I waited....5 hours. Went to the store and the didn't receive the notification yet. I got the email two days later. I purchased while I was at the store. I just figured I'd try it; order at home-walk in-go to counter-pay.

The actual buying online and picking up in store hasn't been too bad for me; I just did it on the Roku. I got an email 2 minutes later saying my order was being processed, and then another one 20 minutes later saying it was ready. It was a no-hassle deal.

But when something is coming out on a certain date, and you go into the store and put some money down for a pre-order, you can bet it will get screwed up.

I put down $50 (they give you a $50 BB gift card so in case they pooch-screw you, they still get your money one way or another), ordered the one I wanted (2014 Note 10.1, white, 32GB), got a receipt for my order, and was told it would be in the store on 10/10.

On 10/10 I got tired of waiting for the email so I just went in and bought a black one because they didn't have the one I ordered. Weeks went by and I kept checking and checking. Saw that they had mine in a store 20 miles away. I called and told them. They said "Well, we can order it from that store and have it shipped to us". After getting idiot responses to my questions of why the other store has it sitting on a shelf and there aren't any at the store that actually has an order pending for it, I finally said fine, get it from that store; I'll wait.

Weeks went by. Nothing.

You know what, on second thought, I don't really care about exchanging 9 times over the last two months with these idiots!!!

I may even go over the weekend and exchange my Mini for another one of the exact same thing!*

Freaking Best Buy!!!

* I destroyed my receipt last time in an attempt to curb my return/exchange addiction, but upon freaking out later that night, I called Customer Service and they assured me that since I bought it using my reward zone card, they found it in the system and can re-print it for me. So yes, I'm still able to do it!

Anyone else with an N7 and the 4.4.2 update having a bluetooth problem? Mine disconnects in my Escape and will do so 4 to 6 times when I try to reconnect.

Question for the women here. I noticed my niece mention on twitter that she has been wanting a 'naked palette' for 3 years now. I looked on Amazon and I'm seeing different brands. Do any of you know which I should look for?

Urban Decay is the one I would bet she wants.

Naked 2 has a true black, Naked has a dark gray. They both have matte and shimmer colors. Naked has a more bronze and cocoa pallette and Naked 2 has a more taupe-y grayish-browns. Its really a personal preference as to which one someone would get. I think I would probably get Naked as a gift if I were buying for someone.

Han, you mean to say you pre-ordered a Note 10.1 2014 and you still don't have it???? I pre-ordered from Amazon and had it on October 11th!

Well, folks, those of you with a winter storm in your imminent future BE CAREFUL! Been there, done that. Don't want to do it again. My low tonight is 31. Cold, clammy and rainy, but certainly not winter stormy.

Hyperdrive RLS4 ROM for the Note 3 ROCKS!

Have a great weekend folks - 10 days until Christmas!

We can all relate.

My sisters husband died in vehicle accident 4 days before Xmas 5 years ago. And Aunt died many yeas ago in December and a cousin lost his wife and son in December. All were vehicle accidents. Crazy month.

Time heals all wounds.

I'm very sorry, BBK. All the best. I lost my Grandma (who raised me) in 1999 so I know exactly what you're going through. It will take time to heal from this loss... but you WILL heal from it.

It's the downside of mortality: we all see our loved ones cross over to the other side before we do. Be strong and know that we're all here if you need to rap.

Pats lose to Miami? For real. Ugh.

And, the Redskins could have brought that game into OT but decided on losing. Shanahan will not be returning next year.

According to Amazon, my Moto G has arrived locally but isn't set to be delivered until Wednesday.
I don't know why I'm so excited, but I guess I haven't bought and awesome tech in a while and really looking forward to it.

Are you having it shipped via drone delivery to your house?

Sorry for your loss bbk

Good morning all - happy Monday. 9 days until Christmas, I still can't believe Hanukkah is already over. It was way too early this year.

Motorola screwed up with the X from the very beginning by making it exclusive. At the same time they said it will have a wooden back, kinda neat. New tweet is saying they are putting that on hold.

Great ideas with the phone. Great phone. Poorly handled.

Yep. Still nothing. Not that I want it now, of course, but it's ridiculous. Best Buy is the Verizon of electronics.

Loved Tom Brady's presser afterwards. That guy was not a happy camper. After Spy-Gate, I kind of laugh when they go through patches like this.

I feel you man. Here's my matchup for this week, the semi-finals. I'm the team on the left.

If I had guessed right on even one of the guys on the bench, I probably would win. Richardson, Jennings and Wallace have been among the most useless people on my team, no, the league, for this year. Infuriating.

I dropped Wallace like 4 weeks ago. I think he had his best game yesterday? Ray Rice was my worst pick this year with Wallace a close second. I only kept Rice because I thought someone else would pick him up and he would start producing.

The guy I played, most of his players had their best games. His kicker had 24pts!

When I get my Moto G I may try a pre-pay plan from T-Mo to try out their service. Biggest problem is the G doesn't do LTE which I believe we have in DC. Ah well, will be an interesting project.

Geez. A non-LTE phone in an LTE region is as useful as a one-armed trapeze artist with an itchy as$.

You will like T-Mobile though. Best carrier on the planet!!

I basically got it to use as an iPod replacement at work since I don't want to trash my G2. (My Gnex is barely with me and no idea where the Bionic is). But, I think it's a good opportunity to try out T-Mo.

T-Mobile also works great for downloading tv shows. I believe I downloaded close to 90GB last billing cycle. I just put about 10 in a queue to download before I go to bed and then in the morning I wake up to all these nice episodes waiting to be consumed and assimilated into my brain. It's wonderful.

Hmm. Is there a way I can migrate my texts over to my new phone? I unfortunately was lazy with my replacement GNex and never rooted it or installed TiBu. Any SMS backup apps for non-rooted phones?

I was watching some Moto G reviews this morning and one reviewer had a T-Mo SIM in it and I was pretty impressed with the download speeds (5-6Mb). To be honest, that's not much lower than what I get on LTE in DC.
