I hadn't made the switch, but am thinking about it. John Legere has tapped into the frustration of subscribers of the big three carriers, who are more seemingly interested in their shareholders than their customers. That's the bottom line and the truth.

The real truth? If your customers and satisfy them? You satisfy the shareholders. That's the order it must be in.

By affecting AT&T, they should eventually affect Verizon. They tend to copy each other, so we'll see if that continues. Otherwise Verizon is going to look like the elephant in the room.

I'm not sure if this just happened today but At&t will let you out of a contract after 6 months, with a catch...of course. And Verizon now has a $20 Share Plan, but I think only 250mb of data. Both of these came out after the TM CES announcement. Both new plans suck. They both just keep offering junk. They have no clue.

And I just noticed that Verizon added to their Edge Plan...you can now upgrade after 30 days. You still have to have 50% of the phone paid off in those 30 days and you still turn the phone in for the new phone.

T-Mobile coverage map is now one of my favorites, but still no joy. I only have one phone still in contract with VZWorthless. My wife is on a used S3, and I'm still running the GNex. I know there are towers in my area that are leasing space to carriers, c'mon TMo

Gooooood morning everyone - nice 4 day work week.

Wasn't supposed to start snowing until noon, but it already has started. This should be an interesting commute home.

So much for the townhouse. I emailed the realtor last night asking him if Saturday was a good day to sign the papers and he informs me that the office decided to give it to the secretary. In the same email he offers a two bedroom for more money. I better be getting my $35 dollars back for the app! And now I have a pointless credit check!

Snow? I've been riding my motorcycle to work this week, and it's been awesome!

Although it is supposed to cool back down for the rest of the week starting tomorrow.

But it's awesome being back on the bike. Just have to get some new tires. These are cracked.

Apparently the cousin of my sister's boyfriend/husband is singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

All I know is she is an opera singer.

That is really neat!

Hope everyone stayed nice and warm yesterday and out of the snow. Decided to work from home due to the weekend / holiday train schedule they implemented. Glad I did - it took someone I know 3 hours to get into work yesterday, yikes.

So my app finally got reviewed by Apple, but got rejected because I forgot to implement a way for the user to "Restore In-App Purchases" which I totally started and just never put a button in for. So hopefully the re-submission of the application won't take as long to review as the original, but we shall see.

Almost Friday, woot.

THIS SUCKS!

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat update disables third-party accessories | Android and Me

Upshot is, Samsung requires KitKat-updated devices to use only Samsung accessories. Nothing else will work!

That's gonna complicate the KitKat ROM process big time.

No kidding? How about that.

She performed at IUP(Indiana,PA) last year and my sister and her bf/husband(I really have no idea which to call him) and they were invited. Both enjoyed it. Afterwards they were all invited to go on a tour of Indiana, but being that Indiana is a half-hour away from home they didn't go.

She studied with our teacher because she looked up to my wife and my wife told her she needed Beverley. Literally. No joke. Renee was one of the smart ones who listened. Others didn't.

Choral singers, eh?
My lady's two best friends were music grads from college. One was a teacher in elementary school the other is in Chicago helping with theater work. All amazing singers.

Call me someone who couldn't tell the difference for a million dollars.
This was choral music classes they took in high school which (for the other two), transpired into college majors in music.

Hey all you LG G2 owners, question for you.

I have never been able to figure out multi-select in the gallery. If I am trying to send pictures, ore even delete, I have to do it one at a time. I have googled it, but all I see is that you should be able to hit the share button and multi-select, but when I hit the share button the drop down comes up to pick the app I want to use to share.

Anyone figure out the multi-select in the gallery?

EDIT: Geez, I finally figured it out after all these months. I clicked on the pic, I guess, and from there you can't do it. I had to hit back to get back to the main screen and then I could hit the share button and the little boxes came up. Man, that's been super irritating for so long. LOL

It's my understanding that KitKat is wiping all root exploits. So how would one install the Xposed module?

Probably going to depend on someone installing a stock rooted rom after already being rooted in earlier builds. I'm not sure if SuperSU Pro would protect root on an ota because of how tight these devices have become.

Finally got around to activating my Moto G to test out on T-Mo (3G only).
First speed test in my apartment vs my G2 on LTE:

G2: 9 up 5 down
Moto G: 4.6 up 1 down

Not bad. Can't complain with that. First phone call wasn't the best though. Decent, but not as good as my G2.

And don't you all have your own sections to talk about serious stuff in? I mean... all this techie stuff? In the Lounge? You're screwing with my mojo, babe.

We survived the pre-release thread and 2 years of Watering Hole. Does anyone here have any mojo left?

I think it had 2 million or so views? It slowed the servers down considerably. Early said you could fry an egg on the server, at times, during that thread.

Holly wow that's a lot. I wonder when it will come to an end to the top threads now, like the Galaxy Nexus Watering hole.

Okay. I gotta get off the internet for the night. Went on Ebay and ended up buying around 10 vinyls.

I jumped on it too late and didn't make it to the top 10 posters.

As crazy as that Pre-Release thread was, and this Watering Hole is, I believe I would be correct in saying that more STAFF have been advanced from these two threads than from all other threads combined. I mean, how many Guides and Moderators were born of these two threads? TONS!

We learned so much about human nature, Android Forums Rules ( by pushing them, usually ), and we learned from the masters.

I'm honored to have been a small part of that Epic-ness.

Anti, Chief and BB were all "Guided" during the pre-release, right?
And I also became a Premium member because of it too.

Here I think it was myself, Razor, Stigy, geek. Any more?

I had some mild participation in the pre-release thread, ~30 posts I think. I then spend a lot of time in the gnex forum and later discovered the watering hole myself. I did follow the pre-release thread basically since a couple days before "The announcement".
