LG G2 not a GS2.
And KK has rolled out for every version of the G2 EXCEPT the damn Verizon one.
(but I've been on 4.4.2 for a while now anyway)

Hey peeps! I'm having a great day today, hope you are all having a great one too!

Sun is shining, and although it's a brisk 52 degrees, it feels great.

Aaaaannddd, my insurance finally came through on my stolen bike. I'm getting back almost $2000 more than what I paid for it!!

That thief actually did me a favor!

Thank you Progressive! Now to go shopping for a new bike!

Yep, I've got a couple of leads on some nice ones. I want to pull the trigger before the prices start going up b/c warmer weather = greater demand.

T-Mobile says they will have all 2g service moved to LTE by sometime next year, if I read correctly? I hope this means service in this area gets better.

From one of the latest Yelp reviews from the restaurant I work for.
Quote:
No matter how busy they are, the servers are always helpful, patient, attentive, and generous with the bread. Ah, the bread. I could write novels about their bread. They make it in house, and a bread basket featuring 3 different varieties of bread comes with every meal. You could give me just that bread basket and I'd be happy.

Perhaps, but March 14, 1592 was the best. You can't beat that one. At exactly 6:53:59 in the morning, my grandparents x 16 met. He was selling a cow at the local market, she was looking it over, and their hands briefly touched.

The rest was magic.

We actually celebrated Pi Day yesterday by having a slice of Key Lime Pi (decorated with the Pi symbol, of course) at exactly 1:59 PM. So 3-14 1:59 we did some Pi!

Guess what I got in the mail today, two days early? My 128GB microSD card!

Amazing that this tiny chip, that balances on my thumbnail, can hold more information than 88,500 floppy disks. Double-sided, double-density floppy disks. Just astounding to me how technology advances.

EDIT: CONGRATULATIONS Mr. and Mrs. JMar! Beautiful little addition to the family!

There's only one pi, but 1:59.xxx comes by twice a day.

We had coconut creme pie at 3-14 15:55:35 where 15 is 3pm military time and you get minutes and seconds by calculating out the remainder of the hour (3600 seconds/hour .92653589...).

People that write the day first, then the month get an overflow error.

Congrats jmar and all the best to mom!

I don't think that I would have a use for it either. At least not at this point. It needs more apps.

Hey all - dropping in. Been a while, but life has been busy.

Congrats jmar and Mrs. Jmar - glad baby is doing well!

This cold weather sucks - let it be warm soon!

Life is good.
  • Got a raise at work, which was really nice.
  • Planning the wedding is starting to get down to the wire - two months left.
  • Working on some Pebble stuff with some really smart guys.
  • Seeing nice download numbers on Android and iOS apps and working on some other stuff in my spare time.

But all in all, couldn't be happier.

Did they come out with a new one? I remember I worked with Motorola at my school club to design the background for the old watch.

Happy Thursday!

I am really torn, folks.

I like round watches well enough, but it's sort of a paradigm for me to see square data screens. Moto360 is all round. I think I'm going to have to hold out for something more Gear 2-ish. All that information on a round screen just seems... so limited.

What thinketh thou?

It needs to first and foremost look like a watch I would wear myself. That's my style, analog and minimalist. The next step is size and thickness of the face. I may not care how thin my phone is, but I do on my watch. Then I want to know how the tech is facilitated.

For me, I want it to look, and to the job of, a watch first.
