What link do you use? Thanks.

Surf to watchespn.com. You'll have to enter your cable provider (I also had to "login" using my primary TWC account -- not sure if this is required for all providers). That should allow you to view the main ESPN3 screen where you'll see a button for "Watch Now". That brings up a second window with all the viewing options. I can't get it to fill the screen but it certainly looks good enough to get my fix.

I found it in the ROM Control menu in settings; first choice...then scroll down t clock and choose position.

I have the WatchESPN app loaded. Support for Comcast customers is supposedly coming soon.

Look in the stickies for the boot animation. Can't remember right now. I will edit if I do.

LOL! I just flashed Revolution followed by the new keyboard and now I only have voice input too. Glad you mentioned it here or I would have had a panic attack. Kind of stinks that the two don't play nice together as I like both of them. Why can't I have my cake and eat it too?!

There's nothing wrong with free flowing exchange of ideas and info. Opinions are great. Passion is great. Helpfulness is great. Bashing someone is not and I have never seen you bash or be disrespectful. I remember your posts from the pre-release thread and don't recall anything out of line. Those who don't like the content of what you say can always ignore the post. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I'll try to make this brief, I promise....

It seems I'm not flashing as often as I did with the OG Droid (or as fast as some of you here), but eventually I'll get around to trying some of the combos you all are throwing out there. I tried Gummy this weekend, but was not happy with battery life compared to my stock (rooted) experience. I just flashed Revolution (and Nova) which seems nice thus far with the exception of not supporting the dark themed keyboard mod mentioned earlier.

I also am happy for now with the 1.2 GHz kernels. I tried bumping up to 1.35 once but it didn't seem to make much difference and I had one restart compared to none at 1.2. I have to admit that after the fantastic OC limits with the OG Droid, it seems odd that the GN is "stuck" right around 1.3 -- I thought the processor was rated for 1.5 in the original specs?

<----- Just a happy, blissful USER

No flashing, no rooting, no special stuff. Just using the most awesomest phone on the planet. I rooted & ROMmed enough on my Droid to last me awhile.

So all you fellow non-ROMmers rejoice! This phone rocks in its stock state and we have no real NEED to mess with the innards! All these folks who WANT to flash themselves silly can do so to their hearts' content and that's fine... but with this phone, I don't feel like we're missing out on a whole lot by staying stock

I agree, even though I am a flashoholic! While I was trying to find time to wipe my computer and reinstall Windows, only to jump to Ubuntu 11.10, the only thing I had REAL issue with was battery life. I went over two weeks without modding this phone! That's like 14 years in fly years, if I was a fly! Anyway, like I said in the "Why Root" thread...to each their own, paraphrased, of course!

Well, I kinda wanted to throw that in here because it seems more and more like the thread is turning into a Root & Flash Thread... and it's important that we non-rooters feel like we still have a place to hang out, too

We will NEVER leave anyone out. I know right now it's a lot of rooting and flashing but feel free to jump in with anything. We really are like a big family that everyone gets to have their fun.

Hey everyone, a quick bit of news - I was able to download an apk of HBO GO and was actually able to install it on the GNex; however, when opened, the application showed a pop-up saying "This application is not compatible with this device" before closing. So close, yet so far.

HELP!!!!!

Possible premature celebration - toolkit says I'm rooted. Superuser and ROM Manager say I'm not. Is this that issue where the stock recovery is overwriting the custom recovery?

If yes - how do I fix it?

See above post for bump. But otherwise it's just a couple clicks and I know our team of helpers will fix me up and then I will be able to say this was easy. (And it really has been)
I'm still not even nervous.

I'm not familiar with the toolkit...those things scare me, honestly lol

Have you done the recovery-from-boot.p rename in /system? I would have thought that something as automated as the toolkit would do this for you, but maybe not.

All this does though is keep the stock recovery from flashing upon a reboot...confused as to why it's saying you are not rooted

The toolkit is infinitely less scary for me. I'm rebooting now to try the renaming thing.

Just wanted to share that I'm a fellow non-rooter/non-flasher thoroughly enjoying stock ICS. I am, however, using Nova Launcher and loving it!!! I just hope they add wrap-around homescreen scrolling...

After renaming you will have to flash clockworkmod recovery again, through ROM Manager, (easier, though I have always preferred fastboot), for custom recovery.

You also may need to launch the Super User App and update, even if you are "currently up to date."

Use any IRC client, or hit the "Chat Live" button in the toolbar at the top of the screen! I'm in there now.

Chrome wouldn't work? IRC works just fine for me on Chrome. Try this one in Chrome, see if that works.
