So since we're back on the topic I will provide some input.
I have completed P90X 1.5 times (first time gave up halfway through) and completed 30 days of Insanity (program got boring to me after 30 days). My biggest recommendation from either of these programs is to find someone (if possible) to do it with. You will be able to push yourself hard, but if you have someone that can push you to do those 1-2 extra reps or grab those 5lb heavier weights the next time, then you will see results. me and my friend pushed each other hard and it made a huge difference. I didn't find that I lost a lot of weight doing P90X, but I did gain muscle. I am 5'7ish and about 155lbs so I definitely have more muscle to put on and hope to do so when I start P90X again.
Insanity is definitely more cardio and a good program, but I found it boring after 30 days because of how repetitive it got. People will say I gave up, but I went back to P90X and I just liked it better. I am going to start up P90X in February unless I decide to order P90X2, which then I will start in February.
I just love the convenience of doing them at home and not having to go to the crowded gym and doing it at my convenience.

I will agree, it does get a bit repetitive, but to me it was about seeing my improvements from week to week. They are easily seen when you are doing the same routine for the first 4 weeks and then the same for the second 4 weeks. Insanity is definitely geared towards cardio and core strength rather than gaining muscle. If you want to get bigger/ripped, Insanity is not the right program at all. If you want more core strength, more agility, stronger legs, etc...things I consider natrual athletic type moves...then Insanity is great.

On a Galaxy Nexus related note....Juice Defender is really helping with my battery life at work. Still strong at 65% and have been off the charger for 7 hours. I consider this to be a normal usage day as well. Normally would be well down under 40%, probably 30% or less.
Is anyone else getting really annoyed that those of us running stock are still at 4.02 when 4.03 has been available in ROMs for several weeks now? It just seems to reek of Verizon slowing down the update process.

You get better at it After I got my OG Droid, it took me several hours to root and flash a ROM. After I did that a couple of times I was getting to where I could flash a rom, extract the files I wanted to edit/theme myself, edit the icons in photoshop, export them, flash it back to the phone, and have everything set up the way I had it again in less than a couple hours, lol.

The roms are easy. It was getting stuck at unlock that took a while.

I'll admit...the unlock and root for my Nex took me longer than I expected. Took a good hour and a half start to finish. Granted I had none of the files and performed it on a Mac.

I didn't use the one-click. I did the manual method. My Macbook is for sale right now and I just built my desktop system after Christmas. Dual booting Ubuntu and Windows 7
nice that is the set up i am running on my coding laptop
and i think the manual is faster IMO and it teaches you more and if you jump on phones soon enough like many of us here did its a good knowledge to have
However, I will say, for photo editing, you cannot beat a Mac as long as you have plenty of storage. My laptop just simply did not have the storage needed and Mac desktops are way too expensive. I'll do just fine with Photoshop and Light Room on a Windows based PC.

Indeed. I'm not as familiar with all the linux commands as I would like to be, but I do ok. Hopefully running Ubuntu will teach me a few more.
i am not a big photo editor although i know what its like to not have enough of anything on my coding laptop i can not run any other process while compiling any work needs more RAM but i well
yes it will teach you expicaly when running and installing programs and messing around in the terminal and wine apps

When you take as many photos as my wife and I, you need tons of space. Especially when you keep a copy of the RAW file and the JPEG. RAW running aroud 6-8MB each with JPEGs running 1.5-2MB. Multiply that by thousands of pictures and you can eat up a TB pretty quickly.
I just hope I don't run out of room on my SSD. I've got 14 GB partitioned to Ubuntu and 50 GB partitioned to Windows 7. I just installed the OS's and programs I use frequently on the SSD and everything else will go on the 1TB HDD. Got a 160GB USB external backup that I'll plug up every so often to back up pics and docs and probably will add another 1TB HDD to run daily backups.

Actually I believe its Google. It's rumored they slowed .3's release because of the Awake OS bug. It's going to be the "official" base for all manufactures, so they pretty much have to have it right when it comes out.

Hope they do get it right, that keep awake bug is a killer.
haha i wish i could plug in external RAM AHH aint that an idea for a invention
but yeah sounds like you have enough storage and if not i know a TB aint that expensive anymore unlike it was when i bought my exteranl a few years back and paid almost 200$ for it

Nailed it and quite a few of the 4.0.3 roms still have this problom so give it time

Yep. You can get a TB internal for under $100 now pretty easily. I just know how Windows tends to grow over time and eventually eat up a bunch of space.
Now external ram...that would be nice. Would need something besides USB to handle the data rates...but that is a thought. Especially now that systems can address increasing ammounts of RAM.

Google is working on a nexus tablet for this year anyway. I forgot where I read it.
I will wait for that.
With my ski trip coming up in two weeks, I will be spent out anyway.
Funnily enough, Asus announced a new Prime today to launch in Q2. *rolls eyes*
But, despite my earlier griping (esp since I had to open my current Prime to test it out), I may end up keeping it if it passes my wireless tests. I think it's overkill that all the new tablets are now going to come with 1920x1200 res screens when 1) it's hard enough to find good 720p-supported android apps for Nexus and Rezound as it is [can't believe my Rezound dropped to $199 already...] and 2) I somehow doubt the Tegra3 can handle that too smoothly. I am curious about the upcoming Nexus tablet, though...

i mean with the newer"ish" usb 3.0 it is coming close to being able to handle those rates "ish" and if anything i know not all computers have the ports but firewire connections can sustain the high data rates but i still dont think i is remotely in the works

i am getting a good refund check form school this semester and i think i am saving for that nexus tablet and retire my aging but still amazing og wifi xoom
You know, I kind of feel bad, but I am fully neglecting my Iconia now that I got my GNex. Just seems like the smoothness of my phone outweighs the bigger size of the tablet. Anyone else share this thought? Perhaps once ICS is available for the tablet that will change.

Trying to find a cheap (sub $100) Android tablet to pick up to use as a replacement for all my remotes. Was hoping to grab a Touchpad during all the fire sales but no go.
Verizon FiOs app, XBMC app and then just have some ebook apps on there would be perfect.

if that is all you wanna use it for look at the Viewsonic G pad but you will have to root it in able to get the functionality

Just got the TPU case how do I know if it's the v2? My volume down button seems too easy to press not the volume up though. Cool case what a steal for the dough!

If you paid only $5 for it then its definitely a rev 1. Otherwise I have no idea how you'd tell the difference.
I got an e-mail on Friday saying my replacement case was shipping out - a revision 3.

It was like $11.75 and stated it was *revision 2* just wondering thanks. So I think I still might cut out the volume rocker rubber area, the volume down is too easy to push and doesn't "click" like the volume up does with the case on.
