Just wanted to get tabs on Mac users who also use android devices as I am looking into getting a Mac myself.
Bottom line? I am thinking about adding a Macbook pro to replace my netbook but would like to do a bit more then I can with my netbook like light photo editing and some android tinkering) and just want another option to do this on besides windows.
I don't need you to talk me into either platform or into linux . I just want to know if you Mac users have any problems with developing and hacking your android devices? Driver issues? Etc?
Macs don't require drivers. I use them often for my Android rooting and customization stuff.
Some older Samsung phones only interface with Windows tools for that.
Some newer HTC models can only be hacked using Windows or Linux tools. In that case, if you only have a Mac, you have to install a virtual machine and Linux. That's free to do, but extra effort.
In many cases you'll be fine using native OS X solutions.
Whether they run in wine (or Mac Equiv) or not is another question, but I wouldn't recommend using anything that flashes a phone through something like wine.

Fastboot and adb execute without issue on a Mac.

Without question, kiss that headache goodbye.
You may need to install MTP support (looking at your device list), but that's usually trivial in most cases. Lion will automatically deal well with the Nexus, per reports in the Nexus Watering Hole.
If the Xoom is an issue for that, the Android app for the Mac is said to solve that.
