Default Push Ads

Anyone out there know a good app for blocking push ads? The only ones I could find only scan apps that are installed by the user, not apps that are part of the factory ROM.
My LG MyTouch keeps getting push ads ABCs has been receiving them since the day I bought it. When I contacted T-Mobile about it they acted like they didn't know anything about it.... Yeah right...!

I think you have to use the scan tools to determine what apps use them and remove the apps. I'm not sure I've seen anything that successfully blocks them yet as new ones are popping up daily.

Yeah, the problem is that the scan tools aren't picking up anything in the system installed apps, just the ones I've installed myself....
Bummer...

Are you referring to AirPush ads, the ones that show up in your notification bar?

In such a case, you can try to opt out - Android Ad Network | Push Notification ad network | Mobile Ad network | Android app monetization

Or try one of the airpush ad blockers. First install one of the app detectors to see if it's really AirPush that's the problem - search Market for airpush detector.
