.:[]~ The Triumphant Thread ~[]:.
Hello and welcome to the firstly created thread for the Virgin Mobile's Highest Prepaid Phone (at the moment) the Motorola Triumph. Here we can take a long break from phone discussions and have a general discussion, as well as a place to chill. Forum rules still apply and I do welcome other users here at Android Forums.
Oh and also, this is my first Thread, do introduce yourself at the front door and everything else goes from here. I'll begin first. My name is Marco but most people here call me MRCMidnight or MRC for short. How about yourself?

Been very good here, I found something about myself, I had a gift; I did not realized it until I talked to my teacher in college, we had a deep talk one on one

Yeah it has, I feel enpowered and not a lazy guy at home. Currently I am eating cereal and talking to my fellow AF members. Else I would lay in bed and take naps. I have some reading to do later.
Hey MRC. Good luck with the thread. It's fun to relax and become a bit social with fellow phone owners. It's remarkable that a device could build such a nice bridge.
Have fun. I'll drop in another time and say howdie.

Thanks, that is exactly what I had in mind. I love my phone not because of the the features or the ROM developers but for the awesome community of AF we have here. Please do come back, you are welcome here too

Cool to see more threads like this. I love our Nexus watering hole. Great way to get quick advice on your phone and to just shoot the breeze about anything. Hoping this one turns out just as much fun!

I meant the clutter at Android Central with phones and accessories at prices we do not consider sale prices, more likely retail. I know they go away once we login. All those ads makes me say why clutter and download these images, especially on the phone. The clutter on Android Forums is most organized I seen, each one separated by category

Ahh lol. Yea the way they have categories is organized... But the off topic stuff in threads at least on XDA would probably get you banned unlike here.
My weekend was pretty boring... No work though so that was a plus. I have work today though :/
Oh.... Hi im a Rom Developer that specializes with making roms for the motorola triumph i have however recently had an interest in developing for the optimus slider

I don't troll either... Why would I do that... Um... well... maybe I have... lol And the forum rules here in some sense are so loose and others stricter. Like XDA you make a thread that already exists everyone eats you alive... Literally

Welcome to the board of triumphant throne I call home. Take off your socks and have a Pepsi at the small fridge at the corner (I really do have a small fridge at my room).
How was everyone's weekend? Marc, did you saw my video on Mobster's Bravia Engine on YT?

Yea and looks as crappy as ever lol. Actually it looks like 480 upscaled although I didn't see any lag in the camera even with the quick turns which is amazing...

I honestly did not choose the right places to record videos. I think I reverted back to no tweaks at the moment with Whyzors build. This gives me another chance to see if the Bravia Engine does improve. And marc, I saw what your phone can do, it captures low-light. I'm jealous

Yea. In full HD. At 30 FPS . I just wished the MT had more time spent on it before it was released.

Yeah I know. It was Virgin Mobile's idea I bet you, they wanted a new phone sooner than expected. Reasons I do not know. probably it was a market trend they had to met. I would have like it done with no errors and GingerBread. for 300 bucks they better have GB soon.

Funny joke . VM doesn't work that way. The Intercept was the only phone that ever got/ will get an update probably.

I lurked to see what they said. They were like "okay" and "well, that's fine but there is better ones". They knew what to say but it wasn't childish. This is most likely a site driven by experienced users which is no fun.

And that is the sad part. The Triumph has its problem and still is, to be able to use the Front-facing Camera, you have to upgrade the phone to GB. And when it does come, I'll be too late for the next generation of users to buy this phone. The HTC V, a better quality phone comes out. However, I am not gonna leave the Triumph yet. Sorry I rambled, point is we need that GB soon. HDMI for CM7 is a must (or CM9)

Actually the MT uses gingerbread camera .api on 2.2 so that you can use it with skype and such. Or at least that's what I understood.
How you know so much technical detail? *wonders you work for VMU*
I get bored... I look stuff up... That's pretty much what happens. I look especially hard at phones I'm getting like unboxings, reviews, and tech specs.

That's exactly why I do a lot of times now. Not only on phones but anything nice in general, reviews on the web is geneal and sometimes needs a demonstration.

I have decided based of your Forum persona:
Power goes to Mobs = You have ROMs, you can create the future
Wisdom goes to marc = You have insight on many things you seek
Courage goes to MRC = Not afraid to say what's on my mind (most the time)
The choose is not done but that's what I contest.
