Default Great iOS vs Android Tube

Since I got my eensy Android, I always assumed that the iPhone was of course the better phone and that’s why it costs more and maybe someday I can afford one. But then I watched this startling video:

Android Vs iOS The Truth about Apple and Google's OS

Now my only in interest in Apple is picking the right time to short its stock.

I watched these videos. The morons in the comments should be reason enough to go with android. My favourite part of the video is when he proves that an outdated android OS (Froyo) is still superior to the latest version of iOS.

Brilliant video, probably one of the best reviews I've seen.. I've never had an iPhone and have no love or hate for them, only reason I've not had one is the price and the screen size is a bit small for me.. after watching that I wouldn't have one, all of those things are little niggles that would bug me I would have to get rid of it.

Hey, I love my Android phone, but some of these things in the comparison really seem to be leading questions: does Android do this better? Well, let's go ahead and compare it to what iOS does, then. Yeah, I love being able to change the default web browser, but not everybody does. A lot of iPhone users are happy with Safari. I like being able to change custom ringtones on the fly. A lot of iPhone users don't care about that.

How about integration with iTunes? I'm glad I finally found iSyncr, and that's about as seamless an experience as I've gotten with Android, but it's still not as good as the iPhone with iTunes (for obvious reasons, but still...). Also, unless you have a Droid Maxx Razr or use an extended battery, it's tough to beat the battery life on an iPhone with an Android phone, especially the one in the video (yes, I have a Galaxy Nexus... battery is fine, but it is not good).

The video wasn't questioning IOS , we all know itune is an Apple product but Android provide many options. Just like folk like Safari and itunes, they're many who don't as well. He clearly show how features have been on Android for some time now, when Apple gets a new feature it is usually old news for many Android users. It is no diss to IOS, the truth is Android had many of the features long ago.

in this video is pretty much everything I tell my friend that bashes the Android because he is an iOS for lifer

But in all honesty, there is a simplicity with iOS that is not there (in my opinion) for android. I had a Gen2 iPod Touch which as you all know runs on iOS, and there was no learning curve on it, then I got my first android phone running 2.1, and it took me a few weeks to really learn how to use it as well as my iPod for most things.

But I am Android all the way, I like the freedom that Android gives me to really personalize my phone to my liking

Didn't apple sue someone for the first example? Choosing which app to use when you click on something?

I remember a several years ago when Android was starting to gain momentum and I was getting to know about Android, their was a guy that used to make videos similar to this showing how Android had many more benefits than ios. No matter how many times you show a hardcore iphone owner how Android is ahead of ios, some will never see the truth or want to believe that another os is dong some things better than Apple. But like they say, different strokes for different folks.

I stumbled across those videos too. Should be required viewing for all new smartphone users IMHO.

I had a brief love affair with iOS when the iPad was released in 2010. I found what I loved the most was having a tablet. My affair died out once I discovered the world of Android later that year.

I can handle the rank and file people reaching for iPhones. They don't know any better.

What irritates me is how much tech journalists gush about it. Apple is the "hipster" thing and they all want to be considered cool kids. The reviews Brian Tong does on CNET make me nauseous. His latest was comparing the Asus Transformer to iPad. He demonstrated how the Asus home screen can be configured with app shortcuts or widgets or a combination. Then shows the iPads multiple screens of app shortcuts. His conclusion: iPad wins for design because it is so easy to use. Doh!

Tide is turning though. The Geeks are in love with the Nexus 7 and Jellybean. Apple also looks like a Grade A bully in court with their demands for product bans. Apple has to impress with iPhone 5.
