I think a homemade crab cake and buffalo chicken nachos may help the mini Lins get through till dinner.
Smoking pork ribs and cilantro chicken for the main course and lest we forget veggies stuffed cabbage and a wedge salad will round out the evening. Thinking of putting that ham bone from last week into some navy beans.... Yup, that outta do!
Ran to the store and got supplies so I can focus on football for the rest of the day
Trent..how 'bout this :
When you buy a set of 4 Pirelli tires you have a chance to win a trip to Italy...How ironic is that for you. If I win I'll let you know.

I currently have summers on my car so I'm looking at high performance winters. The winter Pirellis in my size are more expensive than the Dunlops I'm looking at and not as well reviewed.

A'ight den. Just thought that was too funny, you need tires & your going to Italy. I think I'm gonna go w/ these instead of the Michelin MXV4's I have already. Had Pirelli in the past & loved 'em.

I really like Pirelli's.. had some in the past and was really pleased with them. That offer isn't available with the winters
I think at sometime recently I managed to totally piss off the AF gods.
I've been totally unable to log in to AF for the last few hours, kept on telling me my password was wrong. And then, like magic, it works again.
Most odd, most confusing.
Need to investigate further.

Pecan wood is cooking a bit to high... But other than that, we are all good. The Boys wanted sliders instead of crab cakes ... Are you kidding me ? Anyway, bacon is going now to complete lunch. The Buffalo nachos are almost finished.
Dinner is almost complete as well, Ribs and chicken are great slow cooking in pecan wood. Salad prepped, beans are simmering and I already , made tomorrow nights dinner.
I will be opening a bottle of 2 buck chuck momentarily.
On a side note. ... The 18 yo asked me why I do this? He said " Ma, just go buy some frozen stuff, that's what the rest of the world does ".
Really? Af family. Who makes meals more often than not, not frozen, and maybe not even complicated . Just curious.

If we eat its due to me cooking real food but I don't have the time, patience, skill, or resources to go all out like you mama Lin. Your food is artwork.
K Lin : alot of it to me is the size of your family. The more folks you have the more you probably cook stuff. Remember you have alot of mouths to feed & all male at that. Here at the treb manor it's me & 2 ladies so not real bigger eaters here. I wish the wife did more cooking like you do my dear, but w/ just the 3 of us it's just not worth all that. Not to mention I am the kitchen cleaner person here ( no joke ) so the less she cooks big stuff is less time I have to spend in there as well.

I get that.... But , His point is that No ONE cooks anymore. I tend to believe that is probably not the case. Frozen or fast food vs Something from a kitchen. That is probably a better way of asking.

Good thing, you commented. He was thinking he was winning. !
+2 for kitchen food
-0 for fast food and frozen
Oh, and one more thing. I cook twice a week. Sundays and whatever day P'Lin comes home. I vaccume freeze the meat and create a different dish from it later on. That is the only way to home cook. Ex. I made 30 sliders, we may eat 10 today. The other 20 get frozen and pulled out another evening so I don't have to "cook".
So, in that regard. I cook only 2 days but eat everyday

Ok Jerry...P'Lin you sir get to clean up the kitchen after this wonderful meal K Lin has prepared. So what do you think ? Glad you won ?
P'Lin :
Lol..... He actually does do the cleanup. While the ice is clanking in my glass, He and the boys clean. Especially relevant since I rarely eat much of the food I make. It is cooked for men and I can't eat it without gaining 100 lbs.

How are we all doing?
K'lin, +1 for kitchen grub!
And for dinner tonight, I did, hash browns, sausage, egg & cheese all wrapped in a tortilla
Been a real lazy day here in the X house, and it appears me dad's gone n done something to his archos tab, so thats something else for me to fix. Oh the fun never ends.

Sleepy time for me, me thinx. Tata all!
sounds like a heart attack o_o;
aww...looks like i can't use google play music since i'm not the US :c bummer
I may end up taking the 3Ds XL back for a refund. Hate to do this, but its awkward for me to hold and play. The lid flip flops, the stylus drags, according to my mom, and I had problems with the thumb joystick trying to get mario to move. Like it was not fluid and I had to back off the stick to reset it to get mario to go where I wanted him to. Kind of bummed about this.
