I've been fighting problems for 10 months now and am still no nearer an answer. From what I can tell it's not memory related because I've run multiple tests, and it's not CPU bound but, my PC has a desire to just seize for up to an hour. A reboot always brings it back to life.
Rather than continue to fight, I think I will take the opportunity to drop a solid state drive in for Windows, then mirror a couple of disks for user data.
The disk is 3 years old now and a replacement won't cost that much.
Thanks for the advice though!
No problem!! One handy thing Acronis is good for is backing up a relatively new OS install to a bluray disc or external hard drive/server of some kind. You get windows, your antivirus, a few apps you ALWAYS install on there, and then Acronis the image straight over to your backup hard drive. It can even be done over a network fairly easily, but I would just throw it on something USB.
Then, regardless of what happens, i.e. new SSD upgrade, buying a second SSD for wicked sick stupid fast RAID 0 SSD action, or just another dead hard drive or a sick/virus infected Windows OS - Then, you just wipe the drive after backing up your stuff, connect the USB drive, and in less time than it takes you to install Windows from scratch, you've got a clean OS install with your AV software and favorite applications (like Office, CSx, etc.) all ready to go!!
HUGE time saver. And Acronis frequently goes on good sales for like $20. Just for future reference.

I love DeviantArt, but so few artist have full resolution downloads available. They are there, but often not of your favorite pictures.
Visit here:
interfacelift — wallpapers, icons, themes, and iOS apps
Download the full 1080p resolution images (and many go even higher than that). They are amazing quality, and razor sharp with stupid good detail. It's mostly naturey stuff, but they're beautiful, contrasty images that really please the eye on the SGS3's wonderful screen. One of my favorite destinations on the web, especially after a fresh Windows install.
Check this one out:

Home and lunch is ready. Yum! By the way, does anyone know if all versions of the note 2 will have nfc? Because a spec sheet on a Singapore site doesn't list it

I just have a hard time sleeping sometimes. And now it's only 45 min before my alarm will go off. So I will end up dozing off in about 43. Lol

Morning folks and happy Friday!
Raining like cats and dogs here. So I plugged in my Prime all night hoping to get some juice in it. Got a whole 18% charge since I used a different wall charger.
Raced to get the update, checked update, update found, download failed.
Looks like some other folks are having the same problem, either way I'll let it charge some more before I start attempting it again.

Isn't it like the phones where you have to have at least 50% battery life for the update process to evan think about starting?
In other news.... I want...

Oh yeah, whenever I ROM I generally make sure I'm >90%.
Actually, when I first got my Prime it immediately prompted me to update to ICS and I was too giddy not to do it straight out of the box with probably 30-40%
