Re: Galaxy S3 Watering Hole
I think I got it! I located the backups in another location on the internal external storage. I copied them back to the "other" folder and ran out of room in the process but twrp found them!
Restoring now

Groan. I should have stopped after the first restore. Looks like I just bricked her device...
Factory reset and try again.
Sigh

Re: Galaxy S3 Watering Hole
Got her back to stock rooted. Running 4.0.4 again.
Need to clear some space and try to find a stock rooted update. Or see if she wants to try synergy
At least her phone is getting there again.

Bah, just leave hers stock!
I gave my wife my rooted/ROM'd Bionic and she just complained about had bad it was since it was such a dated ROM. I just unrooted it and loaded a leaked ICS stock ROM and she's fine now.

Okay, aside from only having 1.14gb of storage space left on her S3, I think it is pretty much fixed. Now, the updates! I know the 4.0.4 image is old and updates are just going to bork. I had her buy titanium and set CPU so I might as well try to find a stock rooted rom for it, I am sure the XDA should be of service.
I have been looking into mobile odin to see if just bypassing the PC (if I understand it right). More research.
As far as the ID issue, I don't think it was. I think what happened was someplace down the line, an extra mount was placed somewhere and now everything is like 0/0/TWRP/backups etc, so an extra 0 mountpoint was placed.
so, as a PSA, if you are having TWRP issues, check for that extra 0 mount point and copy the files back to the single 0 mount point.
As far as my Note II? Urm.... not sure yet. Scared to flash.
I think my sister is going to take over my moms Note 1 since the battery life is better and has a larger screen, but not sure yet.

I know, but it doesn't make it tug at your heartstrings any less. He's had some toast and some Gatorade. It's just a bug, so no big deal.

Admitting that it brings you to your knees makes you a man.

Hey K'lin. I had these pizza things for dinner and they were awesome. Basically garlic bread with cheese, pepperoni, and dipping it in pizza sauce. I am afraid I don't know of any place in Chicago for pizza. Sorry.

Looks like I'm getting a hotel room in Keystone Saturday
Forecast from a very well respected (amongst skier and borders) meteorologist:
Sunday-
This could be a big powder day for areas along and east of the divide, such as Abasin, Loveland, Winter Park, Eldora, and any grassy slope in the foothills east of the divide. Stay tuned...I don't want to cry wolf over this storm, but it sure is looking good. On the low side, I
would at least expect 6-12 inches for many of these areas. On the high side, we could be measuring the snow in feet.

Rain has turned into snow, and if it keeps coming down like this, it's going to be bad. Yuck. And I'll be driving in it later. I hate snow.

Well, I made it home in one piece, but that sucked. No visible lanes, lucky to have a set of tire tracks to follow most of the way home. I got spoiled the last couple of winters not having much snow around here lol.

Snow's coming down here as well. Nothing sticking yet as it mostly rained overnight.
Hopefully bus service is "normal". Will have to look into it.

Morning folks.
You guys are making me jealous w/ all your snow talk this year. Everytime they predict it, it doesn't happen or it's not cold enough to stick. I just want decent snow this year. Just cold as all get out here today.

Our weather folks have been mentioning the European Model a lot lately and it so far has been far more accurate. From Sandy to the Blizzard and a lot in between. Now when I hear them mention it my ears perk up because they are right more than we are, or at least more right.

Just don't see how anybody can watch stuff like that ? I stick to high quality entertainment like Pawn Stars & American Pickers
I don't know what it is, but I love this show :

Hoping the European model holds up.... it's predicting a bigger storm for us Saturday night than the US model.

No stickers on my boards
Those graphics (walrus skull) is actually in the deck of the board. I still have that board, its my early/late season board. I actually sold the board that is my avatar to get the other board.
I actually think the new board is ugly as sin.... but it rides fantastic. Handles steeps and deep snow awesome. It could have a pink unicorn on it and I would still ride it!

No, Massachusetts. I know it doesn't seem like much of a difference, but in New England, it really does. We really have unique weather up here where every mile makes a difference. Especially with fronts coming out of Siberia running across Canada running into systems riding the jet stream / gulf stream up the coast. The often collide off Cape Cod or south of there and explode.

Looked like a sticker...my bad
Time for a new avy then huh ?
Stupid question time : how does one board ride better than the other ? Sorry, I know nothing about snowboards, obviously.
And please give your answer in English, not snowboard talk.
