Never had a black adder myself. Was more into Snakebites (wicked wicked drink).

Yeah, we both went with blue as well. I did 'cause it was the only color they had in that was 32GB & TOMA 'cause she didn't like white.
We're both getting cases tomorrow so the color choices may be rather mute.
Ye im getting a case tomorrow or the next day i wouldnt forgive myself if i broke the phone by dropping it. Although i never drop my phones better safe than sorry

Dawnierae. Xplosiv AKA Root Master X is amazing. Very patient. I love the "need to know how much PC experience you have" comment. I'm pretty sure that new disclaimer is due to my lack of knowledge thereof.
Anyway, He is the MAN!
Oh and Treb.... Not rooted, although I don't know if I would want to align myself with someone who clearly can't garden.... (tree post link #2016)

No no, that was definitely not a dig at you k'lin, it just makes it easier to get an idea before hand. You did well once we got our feet on the ground! It was only the setup that took time.

Actually k'lin, Samsung driver installation (educated guess that that was the hangup) has frustrated many very computer literate folks. It is nothing to be ashamed of for sure. When I rooted my GNex I spent several hours fighting the drivers and once I had them sorted it took about 30 seconds to actually root the phone. And I would not be considered a PC novice as I have punched out over 1 million lines of code in my life.

Actually the main issue was "how to extract a .7z file"

Ah... So Pup, you got it. I know how to do things in some cases, I just don't know what it's called at times. Then the creating of things and moving the same files around took the time. The Rooting process was actually maybe 10min.
If I had to do it again, since everything is in place... No Problem.

I remember being up until about 2:30 in the morning after the root toolkit didn't work completely with my Gnex. But it was my Nexus Watering Hold friends that saved the day!

Just need to know how pc experienced you are and what carrier really.
I will probably take you up on that. I'm slightly "above average" in computer skills...though sometimes I think I know just enough to be dangerous.

True story. I had NO problem rooting my Gnex the first time, but I unrooted it when I took it to Verizon to switch it to my daughter's line, and when I tried to root again, I had all kinds of problems. I never have taken another whack at rooting it for her.

Good for your mama (or whoever taught you to be self sufficient). I haven't done my son's laundry since he was 10. He's gonna make someone a good husband one of these days, if I can just teach him to hit the dirty clothes hamper.

If you sprinkle when you tinkle
Please be neat and wipe the seat
...and...
My aim is to keep the seat clean,
Your aim helps
Funny thing is, Evan and I are the only two in the house that actually put the seat down.
