I've got a couple of items on their way from Shenzhen this week, an LED projector for myself, and a real Samsung S4 for a friend. Although the S4 was bought in Hong Kong, because he wants Google.

My new projector.

Mulling over that new n7...

I just could not do it. They had one at best buy and I had them hold it. I did not go back to get it.

Know whats harder than picking a phone for yourself? Trying to find one for your mom. She uses Android right now, I think ICS, but I almost want something easy for her which would be an iPhone but I think the screen might be too small.

I was looking at the Kindle Fire HD 7 but noted the price went back up from 160 that they where on sale for, so that kind of put a monkey in the wrench, so to speak.

Hey Breadnatty?!
France is stressed. Their preferences are shifting from baguettes to crunchy muesli. They started an advertising campaign that plays "Coucou, tu as pris le pain?" "Hey there, have you already bought bread?"
There are only about 32,000 bakers in France, 1 in 2,000 people. Ten billion baguettes per year, less than half a baguette per day per Frenchman.
In Paris the prefect determines by decree which bakers remain open in the holiday month of August. So they've got a real law for that since 1789, when a baker was hung from a lamppost because the poor soul was craving for a vacation. At that time three baguettes were eaten per day per Frenchman.

Yeah, I was watching a piece on the news a week or so ago about the baguette going "out of style" and folks were trying to save it.
Sad news indeed.
Muesli? smh

Everything's put back that we could. We have to wait for the adjuster to appraise the damage before we can start the repairs. Hopefully we will get started this weekend. It was truly a mess and hurricane season isn't over yet

The Netherlands aka Holland has a fairly moderate climate. This month so far though we're 180 millimetres of rainfall under average. It's too dry.

I'm in Greeley. Where are all the oilfield trash is. But it is the 5th fastest growing city in America. It is funny explaining to people that Weld county is slightly smaller than the state of Connecticut.

The Netherlands aka Holland has a fairly moderate climate. This month so far though we're 180 millimetres of rainfall under average. It's too dry.
It's so rare for rain here when it starts it takes me a second to find where the wipers turn on.

Well in Music City (Nashville), where I am, we've got plenty of rain to go around. I heard that it rained here for 3 hours earlier today.

We also got flooded 3 years ago. So like I said, plenty of rain to spare.

I remember that. We have no place for the water to go so if it rains for more than 20 minutes we get flash floods.

We had one flood where an empty crude truck was crossing a dry creek when the flood hit. It picked up the trailer and tried to pull the truck down stream.
