I'm 31 and I have a Associate's in Computer Management and a background in mechanics, electronics and programming. I'm employed by a machine shop doing electrical work and I also run a computer business. Ever since I was a kid I've always loved the idea of having a portable computer I could take with me, and I had (and destroyed - lol) several small PDAs, and 'learning toys' (remember the VTech PowerPad??) throughout my childhood, hardly ever being without one. When I was a teenager, I drew up plans to make a handheld computer, although it's never seen the light of day... yet. I guess in many ways my fascination with the Android platform is an extension of that childhood computer curiosity. Hey, you know what the scouts say... Be Prepared. And the Android platform allows you to do just that. No matter what situation I find myself in, my Warp is constantly helping me out. Whether it's providing relevant information, getting me un-lost (hey... I like random roadtrips ) or helping me fix customers' computers, my Android is always there to assist.
HAI GUISE. I'm Chris, 26 years old. I enjoy photography, video games, movies, astrophysics. I've been a tech junky since I was a kid, I got an early start by taking things apart. I loved to see the inner workings of devices (like my old cassette players.) My first smartphone was an Audiovox 6600 Pocket PC, windows based. It was my first to the addiction of smart phones. After that, I had a Motorola Q, which was a GREAT device. Moved to the Blackberry curve 8330, and had that for nearly a year. Good device. It didn't die, ever. I couldn't kill it. Then I got my first android, the Motorola Devour. That phone...Well it sucked. BUT it was a SOLID BUILT phone. So it made up for that with me dropping stuff. And well there were more between, but I don't feel like typing it out. There's like 5 more between then and now...so meh.
My name is James. Im 18 graduated high school in 2011.im co manager at android depot.its a little buseness.in southfield, michigan that sells, mods, repairs any n all android including tablets. I LOVE.IF U R A ANDROID LOVER LIKE ME THAT THE PLACE TO B
Architecture is fantastic too. Really I'm into anything with strong shapes and light/shadows. I have a D5100 and some basic zooms(18-55 and 55-200). Once I get some funds I'm going for the new Tokina 11-16 2.8 with the internal motor that just came out. That thing is a monster for landscape and street.
Lol this is different but ill participate. My names Mike, I'm 24 from Baltimore Maryland. I have 2 classes left until I finish my AAS degree. My major is Automotive Technology. My first smart phone was a prevail b4 upgrading to the warp. But I've always been pretty techy. I love big booty chick's and only cuddle to shut them up. Lmao had to go to left field
Edit : I forgot to inform everyone I'm in the middle of watching the entire 2nd season of the walking dead.

Heartburn watering hole in actuality..personal feelings only...what's up guys and gals.
Introductions, I basically have the same childhood background of taking things apart as the rest of you, but my direction in life has been a wavering and teetering one. I am a self taught custom audio visual installer, also carpenter by trade who also has an inherent admiration for computers and the like. My dream is to be able to merge all 3 and custom car audio somewhat allows that as I can apply my carpentry skills and electrical understanding to produce 1-off custom installs from the mounting to the fiberglass boxes. But my goal is to be able to build an android based smart car radio and be able to do it from scratch. I'm 33 so time is passing by and this forum has been motivation for me to want to learn more. I just lack direction. Anyhew, that's just a little about me, as it doesn't cover all of my career dreams but if I can master that I can master it all. School is of utmost importance, next to my five children lol.

Lol, they already make them in China from what I've found for a whopping 500 buckaroos at least, you buy one and send it to me to "reverse engineer" it.
Congrats on this here watering hole !!! As the OP of the S3 watering hole I have to say it's the best thread I ever started. Great place to get away from your normal phone thread ( which can get crazy & frustrating at times ) & also make new friends. Have fun & I'll stop trolling now.
