I believe I don't need a video recorder, just sound to preferably mp3 format.
My idea is to record conversations, for example with a police officer on a traffic stop or the like. I am thinking mp3 because of the compression.
Yeah, I searched on the Play Store but that's optically so terribly organized that reading the reviews is a pain. And then there is no sort by ratings (highest first); just: GRRRR!
So any tip from personal experience would be highly appreciated.
And do I need to say that there is slight preference for free apps?

just search "sound recorder " on play store and dload highest rated one. but I dong think anything can record on mp3 format.

I use the full version of Hi-Q MP3 Recorder and it works well. There's a Lite version too, but it's limited to 10 minutes. I use it all the time for meetings and haven't had a problem yet.
