Luna, based on the first pic, are you related to Justin Timberlake?
Here's me, it's the earliest one I can find at the moment? It's a school photo from 1989 or something, not sure. I had that parting for that long, that to this day, when I don't comb my hair, it will part itself.

LOL. Hardly. The dress shirt, painters pants and fedora was quite a departure from where i was 5 years before that with a ponytail, leather bomber jacket and jack boots.

I was a boring father of two in the early eighties. I was making no fashion statement
I used to take my little ones out with me when I was in my full clown outfit - I'll have to see if I can some snaps of that.

In the early 80s, hospitals would not let us take our children home until we signed forms saying that we would, in fact, jump out of chairs and beat people for messing with our kids.

Which probably led to my clown disguise.
Actually, I think that pic of me was taken at my in-laws and that was my "I'm having the time of my life" face.
Full clown outfit, complete with little ones, a must see!
I spent most of the 80's overseas with the Air Force. Most of the local cultures didn't suffer from the same fashion trends affliciting the US, so I never had the clothes and styles that everyone else had.
So I am complying. As a survivor of the 80's I will admit I wore spandex, I wore big hair, big earrings, and little tiny clothes.
I dare anyone to post their mullet
I had a few girlfriends in high school with that same hairstyle. Aqua Net must have made a fortune back then. But what jogs my memory about that picture are the shoulder pads lol. All the girls looked liked linebackers in those days. So many bad fashions in the 80s. Parachute pants, zippers on everything, Michael Jackson Thriller jackets, pants tucked into socks, leg warmers. Luckily I was a metal head as well, so the standard uniform of concert shirts and jeans wasn't too bad. I did have a pair of LA Gear one time, though. Oh, and a Levi jacket with the sleeves cut off lol.

Lol, I don't have shoulder pads there, it's all hair.
I did wear a lot of skintight Jordache jeans tucked into boots with lots of studs and chains back then. No parachute pants. Lots and lots of spandex and half shirts.
I had a mullet in elementary school, mostly because my mom wanted me to keep my hair long and wanted to try short hair. So it was a compromise. Still looking for pics of it. In the mean time, I had a Flock Of Seagull's do in middle school (I never heard of the band until The Wedding Singer).
It was rather tame at this time (7th grade 89)
You can kind of see my mullet here (went back to it in 8th grade)
I grew up in a very small town in rural New Mexico (1 church, 1 school k-5, 1 gas station, 1 store/post office, 1 restaurant, 1 bar) which was 15 miles away from a real town. So we were very behind on the times and fashions.
In 2nd grade (84) I asked a friend's brother to make a copy of Beat It for me. Instead he gave me Quiet Riot's Metal Health and Condition Critical. After that it was all Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Megadeth and SLAYER (a little Metallica around ...And Justice For All).
And I may have had a Flock of Seagull's hair do, but I was metal through and through.
Port A, lime green, yellow and orange Jams, OP shirts and Tiddies, those were the days!
I don't know if any pics survived that I can safely post! Do we have a "Not Safe For Anybody" tag policy?

I don't have any pics, but i grew up in the 80's. I had high hair, colorful jams, band t-shirts, pants tucked into socks, leg warmers, the whole gambit. Oh, and madonna-style lace skirts overtop spandex shorts with a debbie gibson hat. Oh goodness, it's a good thing I don't have pics!
Lycra only for dance and skating. Too many thrift shops with decent jeans to bother with the rest. I could put any logo on a plain Tshirt or hat. The Vulcan ordered a couple of rather indecent ones.

I had the same hairstyle! May explain why I had so few girl friends in high school ..
Kinda miss that hair .. not the style - just the hair
Have to say, Sharon looks better with the hair style in her avatar .. though she looks way too young in the avatar picture for the other picture to have been taken in the 80s!
hmmmm
80's pictures eh? I'll have to see what I can find!
AND figure out how to post a picture! seem to have an issue with that
If you are using the phone browser, upload your pic to Photobucket or Dropbox, copy the link, paste it back here in img tags. (pb has a link with img tags.already attached, or its the icon that looks like a postcard above the text box.
