Let's say for arguments sake that Time Travel really does exist some day in the future.

Just for arguments sake so don't stress let us pretend!

Lets say if you want to go 50 000 years into the future with your time machine... but to me there is one VERY big problem with this.

The problem I have is not that you can go "back" and "forth" in time but to what kind or type of all the possible worlds?

There are so many "types" of worlds that you can't say "I want that one and I want it NOW!"

Lets say for arguments sake you make a super duper Time-omatic machine that can get all the measurements of how fast the universe is moving around and can compensate itself or figure out all that poop right so you don't end up at the core of the Earth instead of Hitler's 45th Birthday party right?

So what I am trying to say is let us remove the silly complications of "How fast we are traveling in space" and "How will we be sure that we will end up in the same spot we are in now?" argument because those are the simplest things to overcome.

You see those thing-a-magies can easily be overcome with enough precision, calculations, computing and above all else - time etc etc etc and then we eat the monkey's hat!

Trying to figure out "where" and "when" is a drop in the ocean when compared to "how do we do this?"

The "where" and "when" is not important at all.

Just a drop in the ocean.

If you don't have a Blue Print or basic concept on how to do it then youz is in the poo!

Anyway I am trolling on 1 topic intensely like all us good Trolls do!

But what I am also tryin ta say is and what I truly believe is that if we DID some how manage to overcome our selfish arrogant selves as the human race and actually DID invent / discover a "time-o-matic 5000" then I have the most important question of all...

If the future is totally unpredictable or cannot be "proven" (and I think it is like this by the way ) then does that not mean that there is a never ending number of results of what the future could hold???

For examplings:

If I choose to find out where Lunatic59 (better known as Bob Maxey) is hiding in the USA and I get angry with him for trolling me and I go to his house and BLOW him away then go and steal his stinky pork chop dog and then the EVIL moderators of Yankie Doodle forums come and arrest me for being a crazy troll then I rot in a jail cell and peg!?

BUT what if I choose to NOT go and BLOW away Lunatic59 and steal his little stinky pork chop dog as my own????

You see!!?!?!?

There foring by my borderline insane logic I have PROVED that the future does not "happen" but rather it IS "created"!!!

Ahhhh!

the future possible path is laid out in front of you.. at that point in time... it is every changing due to everyone's choices ..up to that point in time.

so when you push that button to activate the "super duper Time-omatic machine"..
it will travel down that path to the future.. on that particular instantaneous point of time.

If I choose my own destiny, does that mean it's a limited selection? Or if I may choose any path to the future, is it then, by definition, "destiny"? Or, if a train leaves Chicago at 40 mph. and heads east instead of west, will the conductor eat ham or tuna for lunch?

The universe is a marvelous place.

(...at least the one in my head, I can't speak for the big ugly world beyond )
