I'm so annoyed. My sister is getting the note 2 in Singapore for me because the lte version isn't out yet here, but she says that the grey is already out of stock. I don't want the white one

Since I rarely use it out of range of my home WiFi, I don't need a 3G version. I'm perfectly happy with the WiFi only for the moment.

I toyed with the WiFi only, but the 3g is only an extra £40. One of the networks over here does unlimited data for £12.90 on a one month rolling contract so it won't cost a fortune if I don't use it that often.

I'd rather have the 3G option and not need than vice versa.

Yeah, I have been tethering my Nexus to my Nexus when I need data on the tablet (Usually so the kiddos can watch Netflix, to keep them quiet on longer road trips .) But since we don't go places that often, I can count the number of times I have tethered it with one hand.

Oh and be careful when tethering as some networks charge you for that even if you have unlimited data

I do on call work as well. I do every third week and rotate with two other colleagues.

I remember seeing my very first and only car racing event, The Long Beach, CA. Formula 1. It was the first one for Long Beach and they were practicing early one morning. The sound of the cars screaming past my apt. building woke me up. Mario Andretti, I believe, won that race.
