First thing I do with a new device is root and make a nandroid backup of stock so I always have a place to go back to. Unrooted backups don't really restore anything but data and settings. In that case I recommend backing up you personal files, SMS database and starting from scratch. It's a pain but you'll get better results.

I live in a small town just outside Sheffield (only 15 miles) and, when it snows here, we get cut off - the buses stop running and (because of the roads up here) it can be quite dangerous to drive.
We have our own micro-climate here too... it can be bad here (catch the bus in to town in your wellies) and, by the time you get to town, there's nothing!!

I'm lucky, if that's what you want to call it, in that I work 15 mins away on my bicycle, so I've no excuse for not getting there... if it's real bad, it'd only take about 40 mins to walk it! The wife works in town, so "suffers" when it snows and can't make it in!

Roast Chicken, wild rice and fresh broccoli (stir fried). Oh, and of course a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet. Problem is, now that my son's home, the bottle of wine doesn't go as far as it used to.

So ... it was delivered!
Couldn't she put it in a parcel to you hidden under some Christmas cookies? You'd get it sooner.
