That better be for the horse because the only way he's letting me get on him naked is if I get him drunk first.

Well, it really depends. Most of our local friends here are still single/dating and they're older than us (around 30s). My brother and sister got married about the same age we did though (26). But, a lot of the people we know from our high school (yes, I met my wife in high school) are married and have kids! Times they are a changin.

Ah, understandable. Both my and my wifes' folks are super free spirited so no worries on that end. They just want us to be happy and that's all.

I know but my parents are racist.
And I'm pretty conservative on relationships too so that's hardly helped.

So let me ask you something Wynd, are any of your sisters married? and did your parents approve of their husbands?
I married the youngest daughter and while I wasn't a complete loser (at least they didn't find that out until it was too late
) I wasn't the optimum choice for a son-in-law. It was a little tense in the beginning, but it all worked out. We'll be celebrating our 28th anniversary this year.

My wife is an only child and I'm the baby of the family (my parents were DONE with parenting at that point
), so it was smooth sailing. They knew we were happy and didn't care beyond that.

My brother is married. My sister has a suitor but because he's filipino my parents don't approve and my mom denies she has a boyfriend or anything of the sort. She's still hoping my sister will find a Chinese guy. Anyway, she doesn't want to marry without parental approval but she's already pushing 33

Have to save, Wynd, cultures really are that much different. While I can read books about it or see movies about it, I really can't conceptualize how it works in your part of the world.
