saw the news that Asus was going to discontinue production of its eee pc (netbook) line. that made me sad. I'm currently using an Asus eee pc and I love it. It's got everything I need plus huge battery life (8 hours!).

I don't want to pay for an overpriced laptop just to use basic computing functions with not even a third of the battery life. Don't even think about using a tablet to write my thesis or other document needs.

Have you heard of the 3 o'clock rule mate? Mrs D informed me of this a couple of days ago... all hangovers should be gone by 3pm the next day... if they're not, it's probably a sign of something far worse... impending death, etc.

This was year-end inventory. I was IT support for the whole process and had to be there the whole time, including all the prep on Friday.

In a week and a half the wife and me will be heading to the sunny beaches of Mexico for a week to relax ... courtesy of my boss. In the past he has sent us to Jamaica, Hawaii, New Orleans and a couple of cruises, so I can't really complain about being asked to bust my hump occasionally.

i'm very tempted to remove that piece of plastic on my note 2 screen and just enjoy that beautiful screen. the s-pen shouldn't damage the screen but i don't know.

Sometimes there's a reset hole in the back, poke a pin or paper clip in. Others you might have to hold down a combination of buttons for few seconds. How you reset might be in the instructions. We'd need to know the make and model.
