So i was was browsing these forums and noticed us tablet owners do not have a place for relaxing and general discussion. So i decided to start a thread for this reason but unlike the watering holes on these forums i am not going to discriminate between tablets. All are welcome and i officially announce this thread to be open so come on in and have a good time as all your worries become a distant memory.
I wonder how long it will take us to get to 1000 posts

More watering holes I need to join, eh? Sounds GREAT!
Have a few tablets myself though I find myself using my N7 the most. The Prime is collecting dust, the Nook Color is pretty much 6 feet under and my Flyer is my bedside clock.
So, I'll get the ball rolling. What's everyone's favorite games that look best on a tablet? A fellow staff member turned me on to Plague Inc and I love it. Not a fan of in app purchases but it's just a buck or so to unlock the full version. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.miniclip.plagueinc

Riptide gp and dead space are both great games graphic wise and shine runner isnt too far behind.
World of goo is a must for tablet owners i was sceptical at first i thought it looked too simple and even stupid but i couldnt of been more wrong. You get completely caught up in the story line and the game realy gets to you. I would say its well worth the price there is also a demo.
Dread thanks for the link to that game i might just try it.
I have a Motorola xoom 2 Media edition its not very popular but its very good i have tried other tablets and it compares quite well to other tablets of its time

Good morning all. How's the Guinness Liam? For some strange reason it doesn't seem to be too popular here.
A tablet watering hole, that's a nice idea. My neighbour's eight year old currently uses my Ampe A76 more than me. She's become totally addicted to Cut the Rope. LOL. Although I mainly use it for watching movies in bed.

I got the original Eee Pad Transformer with the keyboard dock. I use it more than my PC as well. I think the Transformer keyboard are the best for any tablet. The recent MS Surface tablets had impressive keyboard docks, but the Transformer series still beats it because Transformer keyboards allow you to mount the tablet at any angle, has an extended battery for your tablet and you can deactivate the touch pad to prevent accidental touches (which happen a lot for me).
While I really like the keyboard on my Prime, I think the one on my new Chromebook is much better. I have a BT keyboard I use with my N7 but the Transformer series really nails it with compatibility.
Na mate but thanks if I was getting one I would wait for asus to release a new tab as I'm not in a rush to get one and I hope your turkey dinner goes well

In the provinces where I am, it's usually native beer. There's Yanjing that comes from Beijing, it's not bad. There's Harbin, very nice. Tsingtao, it's ok as well. Around here they often drink a local fire water. it's like 50%-60% alcohol by volume and is incredibly cheap.

Or the bars are jacking up the prices in addition to the import and shipping costs? Because food and Chinese beers are expensive as well in those sorts of places. It's often assumed that tourists have money to burn, especially American tourists.
Taxis are the worse for ripping tourists off. If you can speak Mandarin, the fare might be 10RMB (about $1.50). Speak in English, you'll hear "Meter is broken!" and the fare will be 100RMB (about $15).

Its a real strategy though, not so easy (but I play Normal though not Casual). And I kinda like it since I'm taking up Microbiology and Parasitology at the moment so yeah, I sort of relate.

Was wondering just how popular it really is. Seems to come with just about every cheapo tablet at the moment, and my neighbour's kids loves it. Angry Birds seem to be no longer in vogue, it's all about Cut the Rope now.
