Oh gosh. I had the original Nokia flip phone, the original track phone. Then no phone for a few years. A pantech flip, a Nokia slide, and this is my first smartphone, pantech burst. My fave before the update was my smartphone. Least fave was the track. Annoying thing, every time u made a call, it would tell u how many minutes u had. Then when u hung up it would ring again and tell u how many minutes u used. Lol I can't imagine remembering the exact names of the phones tho.

Can't believe you guys remember those old phones you had!
Tried to remember my first two, but no idea what they were called.
-Samsung candy bar phone, but it had a flip out part for the voice. Pretty cool!
-LG flip phone with an external display AND color screen!
-LG Chocolate (the original one)
-HTC XV6900 Windows Mobile. First smart phone! And, a POS!
-OG Droid!
-Droid Bionic! Only had it for a couple months. It's now the wife's.
-And currently my Galaxy Nexus.

LG EnV, Honestly, this was one of my favorite phones.
Moto Q. I went through a TON of these. I think like 9
Droid 2. Still have this one actually, brother just stopped using it.
iPhone 4. Never will own another iPhone.
And my current. Droid DNA....
Looking back at this list makes me realize how far technology has come. Hell when I got the Droid 2, it was the tits because it had a 1 gHz processor in it. Now I pull out my DNA which is a quad core 1.5 gHz with a 1080p screen. My droid 2 was the reason I left android at first for Apple. I felt the OS was underdeveloped (shoot me, I know) and just didn't look good to me, this was Android 2.3 I had on my D2. After a long 2 years with my iphone I came to my senses. Jellybean is a flatout amazing OS and is a joy to use. Glad I came back.

First phone was some sorta Nokia. I only remember it had a live wallpaper with some sort of lizard thing on it, and it had some sick games, like some Triathlon game.
Then:
Motorola E1070
Samsung D600
Back to Moto
Back to Sammy
LG Cookie
Samsung Galaxy Apollo
HTC Desire HD (Present Day)
I had to downgrade to a Sony Erickson C702,
and for a week on holiday, this was the meme to summarise it

Re: What's your line-up?
First phone was an LG Cu400, then I upgraded to a Samsung Eternity and used it for everything. Stole my dad's old Blackberry and hated it. Went back to the Eternity. Upgraded to Samsung's Captivate and loved it. Now I have a Galaxy S 3 and am really enjoying it.

The list is long and my memory weak, so I'm sure I'm leaving out a device or two. Also, my wife has a similar list, (much)heavier on phones because she broke a lot of them, lighter on pda's.

First phone i could remember and find a pick of. It was truly a brick!
Quite a highly featured brick as I recall. It was chunky but it was small. Not as nice as my K750i though

I remember these StarTacs (I might be thinking of an earlier model though). I thought they were a very stylish design at the time - when all other phones looked like walkie talkies, these made me think of Kirk's communicator from the original Star Trek - an element Motorola followed through to their RAZR flip phone

The StarTacs were so much smaller and thinner than the phones that preceded them that they often felt like they were from the future. Motorola at its absolute peak of creativity, then a long slide down since. Battery life was awful, especially for the early non digital models. Looking back on them, I don't know how I tolerated the software interface. Even compared to many of its contemporaries, it was a task to use and configure. I remember layers and layers of menu's, some features buried 3-4 layers deep. The things we did for the ability to pocket a phone.

Pocket the phone? The coolest thing about the StarTAC phones were that you could wear them on your belt, and with the sideways belt clip the phone was no wider than the belt itself!
Mine had great battery life. It had the LCD display. No doubt the ones with LED displays consumed more power.
IMHO the RAZR was a worthy successor to the StarTAC.
