Which they did. Another nail in the coffin for CVG. Shame because I have a nice easy journey there from the West Side - a few miles through suburbia, catch the ferry across for a nice leisurely trip over the Ohio, and finally a nice country road and climb until we get to the airport. Beats I75 & I275 and the he'll that is called the Brent Spence Bridge any day of the week

Work is depressing since we all know we are fired on Sept 29th.... CVG should still be alright as someone will surely move into our routes. The new 'A' concourse is really nice also.

I hear ya - used to work downtown until the company I was at decided to out source us all. Nothing worse that working knowing that with each passing day your job gets closer and closer to vanishing.

It's interesting that the way this has been spun by Delta to the press it almost feels like they may be shutting down Comair, it's not really going to affect anyone really. They forget the human cost here.

That would not surprise me in the slightest. You have my sympathies, you truly do.
I'm a believer in business but also that a business becomes great because of, not in spite of, it's employees. Sometimes they need to be reminded of that and that, for me, is the strength of a union.
I'm not a union member myself but do feel that they definitely have a place in a society that let's businesses take advantage of their workers to satisfy the stockholders.
Do you have anything lined up yet? I was lucky at the time and had a few contacts I'd made at Microsoft who landed me a job with one of their premier partners directly after they let go me.

I wish but it is all but confirmed to be Sense 3.6 on the Rezound when ICS gets here

Congrats! I ran this for a while when it was leaked months ago. Liked it OK, but loving the Sense 4.0 ROM I am running now. The best part is this ROM has it's own OTA so I don't have to flash updates through recovery

I'm trying my luck with P&G right now.
Edit: Heard about the job this AM. Got a telephone interview with the hiring manager in less than an hours time
Edit: Interview done. Might hear something today.
Edit: It's a tentative yes, barring anything cataclysmic. Should get an official answer today or early tomorrow morning. Considering I knew nothing about this until 10 this AM I'm pretty shocked!

Can you give a little more information? Did this just start happening all at once or did it gradually? Is your phone rooted? What ROM are you running? Radio version, h-boot version, etc. The more information like that you provide, the easier it is to identify possible issues, but from what you did post, it looks like the radios to me.

That is not a good sign. Do you show any signal bars in your status bar and in Settings - About Phone - Network, what does the phone show? I'm particularly interested in the Signal Strength, but the other information could be useful too.

I bought a couple of laptops this weekend. I owned one many years ago. A Toshiba 386/20 to give you some idea lol. It was our anniversary so we splurged. I did not buy top of the line. They are Dell mid range models.. but good enough to do these forums and my wife's school duties. I'm struggling like crazy to type on the thing.
I've used a split keyboard for many many years now and the laptop is a standard board. That and the fact I keep moving the cursor with my hands rubbing the mouse pad thing... I'm pulling my hair out. I may have to disable the darn thing. My cursor keeps jumping around and I'm typing in the middle of a sentence I've already typed.
Anyway...I hope all is well with everyone.

I got the part time job at Bank of Kentucky in IT department. Doing that Monday and Tues, plus I got a IT contractor job that took up my day today.

When I was between jobs I was trembling in my boots without insurance. Thankfully it wasn't very long, not quite 4 months. I don't remember the number, but cobra was obscenely expensive. I didn't even try for private insurance. With my health, it would cost a bundle and probably cover next to nothing.
Being self employed, I've always had to provide my own health insurance. I was finally forced to drop it when it topped $1,400 a month. I don't enjoy being without but how healthy is protection instead of eating?
That sucks Olbriar! Have you looked at healthinsurance.com ?
I know a lot of people who have used it for reasonable cost.
No I haven't. I'll have to check it out. Fortunately, (knock on wood) I've never been ill. I somehow managed to miss all of the childhood stuff and have never
experienced anything beyond a cold ever couple or three years.
