Yup, too many. But every maker seems to think their phone will click with the public and people seem to want choices. I hate going through countless specs for countless phones, so I simplified. Only the larger screens for Bob, which eliminates 90% of everything that is out there.
The Note is too big but the S3 is just right. I decided to avoid dumb phones, iPhones, Blackberry phones and anything with a smaller screen.
Therefore, I only have to look at a small number of phones (offered by no contract carriers) so buying and studying is easier.
