in case it doesnt get root the first time run the script again, sometimes the script runs too quickly to actually gain root

I've tried to do this a couple times now and it always gets stuck on daemon started successfully. Any ideas?

I did that and found Lg Mobile support tool. Lg Lucid 2 wasnt in the options though.

EDIT: I think I got it. the update button wasn't highlighted and that is supposed to mean its up to date. Could this all have anything to do with windows 8?

I'm not getting any Drivers either. still sitting at daemon started successfully.

Use the support tool, and select Metro PCS then select the MS870 it's the same driver. :-)

Alright, I DO HAVE SUPERUSER on the phone, however, using a root checker, I still do not have root (Titanium Backup won't run either)

Any suggestions?

Try factory resetting, if that don't work, reflash firmware.

I have the superuser app in my app drawer I as well downloaded a root checker and it stated I do not have a proper root...please help.

There's an issue with the root... It was fixed, and working on getting proper OK to get it posted up. It took hours of work from stone great people to get it up, but it's done and verified, as I've got 2 rooted Lucid 2's now.

K0nane fixed it, it was an issue with binary, if I recall right, the day after he fixed it, I moved 333ish miles away... But I think thats what it was.
